Don't you remember their traveling conversations, Calla? They discussed it a couple of times and cautiously theorized about it. They weren't comfortable with their ideas, but they were curious all the same. It took two to do that tango and see but I doubt either of them saw their future situations.

Well it will be interesting for sure as to how LI will play out for femhawke. I foresee a challenge which will be a nice change of pace compared to DA:O. Sometimes it felt too easy to romance Alistair.

Uh... of course I remember. Justice is my favorite character from Awakening. From his character page, it appears that it was Anders' rage at seeing his friend turned Tranquil that distorted Justice into Vengeance. It was a peaceful co-existence (as Justice wanted) until Anders screwed it up.

I don't even think they've 100% confirmed her as a companion. But I could be wrong.
Just saying, other than Isabela, we can't really say who is a LI or not. Isabela is the only one we're certain of.

So, I jump in here because I see the Bioware tag and think... "No, they couldn't possibly be giving us any hints."

Yet, there is that tiny ray of hope in my heart.

I enter and scan for any sign of Varric LI awesomeness.

And the Bioware tag was just because David had to go and make a totally non-revealing comment. Hope re-crushed once more.
