It's a 'card' with the DLC code in it.

Up here in Canada, we only have EB Games. They are owned by Gamestop, but NEVER have the pre-order bonuses that the U.S. has. They never even pretend to know that the bonuses exist. If I don't get the free DLCs with my purchase, I'm driving over to BioWare (I live in Edmonton) and demanding one in person.

This is really a horrible idea - trusting game store employees to fairly distribute something that is advertised as guaranteed. These cards should have been packaged in with the game.
I strongly agree since most people who go to gamer stores often see these things handed out to 'friends' all of the time.

Putting it in with the game requires a manufacturing step which means outlet-specific manufacturing, which drives up the cost of the Premium/DLC offer.
E.g. with EA not going to happen
They would rather the premium not exist.

Codes for Blood Dragon Armour and The Stone Prisoner are inside the box.
Codes for promotional items specific to your retailer are outside the box.
Does that sound right?

Back of Card has the 2 pictures of the items and 16 digit code for each item.
Download directions:
1)Enter your code at dragonage.bioware.com/redeem
2) Start up Dragon Age: Origins and log on to your EA online account.
3) Go to the Downloadable Content menu to view the download progress.
So you might want to go to your place of sale (Instore pick-up that is) and see if you can get the card early, just in case they run out. My Gamestop had a stack of 9 cards and that was it.

Presumably they only had 9 people place preorders, so only asked for 9 cards.
