I wonder why BioWare implement these differing, elaborate orders. Why not just randomize it? So that people will get a more varied experience?

Because everybody has "Defense going well" and "Defense going poorly" dialogue. I needed to figure out the priority to see which success lines can't be heard in the game. I did the other ones for similar reasons: figuring out which dialogue can be heard in which conversations during the Suicide Mission. I figured that since I'd gathered the information, I might as well share it. If you don't care, then might I suggest you read another topic? Kthx.

Cuz they don't talk about that in-game. Didymos generally only does audio.

Well, Rupert the cook comes close to discussing the subject. And then there's Joker's dialogue during the abduction, but that wasn't about literal crap so...
