Merrill was a favorite temporary companion back in Origins, and current Merrill bios have her very translatable to me, so if she's in, I'm definitely going to try.



Isabela was impressive early on, but she's like Morrigan when I first got Origins: aim for her romance but end up falling for the good girl in the end, (Leliana - Origins, Merrill [Hopefully] - DAII). Naturally, I'll definitely get a playthrough with her later.



As for my female Hawkes, I'm not sure. Let a couple of playthroughs help me get to know them before I have them go anywhere.

I'm gonna see what LI likes my character the most. She'll stick to her ideals and morals, and won't jump through hoops to get a LI:s interest. If any of the LI's jump onboard, all the better

Aveline only...I'm a monogamous kinda guy too and I love experience madam.



But judging by the new pace and my experience with Mirinda Lawson in Mass Effect 2, there's is little expectation that my romance will have the sufficient time to bloom.

If I end up going femHawke, I'll probably skip romances altogether. Not really into romancing a guy and I don't want my Hawke to be a lesbian either.



As for male Hawke, I'd probably choose Isabella. Not really into the whole widow thing from Aveline, and Merill looks like a child. Isabella seems to be the most "normal" option.

1) Fenris - what we know about him so far hits a lot of pings for character types I like

2) Anders/Justice - I LIKE ANDERS and him having Justice in him now sounds interesting for a potential romance

3) Varric or Merill - rofl before Fenris and Anders were announced Varric was first but now he's been kicked here. Merill I'm curious about because she's a blood mage.

4) Sebastian - I highly doubt he's a love interest but I'm putting him here because lol I'm more interested in romancing him than Isabela

5) Isabela - Not that I don't like her but I'm not too sure if I want to romance her, hopefully when I actually play I might change my mind but right now she's the lowest on my list.



I'm curious about Aveline but I don't feel like romancing her at all. Though I'm hoping that I'll change my mind when I actually play.

Let's hope for your sake that she'll appreciate that then, contrary to her previous actions and likely convictions. Nevermind the history she appears to have with Zevran 

As for my own:
Isabela as main dish and desert. Might have an appetizer of Sebastian and a midnight snack with Fenris.

Edit: oh... and breakfast with Merill. I'd like to have breakfast with her ~nodnod~

Seriously though, keep the dwarf tossing to a minimum. I'm still going to therapy after that Oghren accident a couple months back.
