02. Isabela- Nice to have a beautiful dark-skinned woman as a potential LI, seems like a combination of Miranda, Morrigan and Zevran here, hopefully she can have the F/F route (though I'll be more than happy to have one of my male Hawkes delight in her).
03. Aveline- This could definitely be one of the more serious romances, very stoic yet passionate. Especially coupled with a warrior knight Hawke there's potential for some really memorable romantic arc plot (with her being a widow and a protectress, she definitely has a tough hide, will be interesting if she is an LI).
04. Sebastian- I rather like the idea of an NPC Cousland type, very driven and very Shakespeare-esque. Plus he isn't too bad looking and I love the accent.
05. Merrill- The classic human/elven romantic arc, the elven girl that's loyal to her people that falls for her human protagonist. And practices blood magic yet looks so innocent. Now that is interesting! She's adorable and looks like she needs a big strong protector at her side. : )
06. Anders- Meh. I liked him in Awakening but the newer companions honestly have me much more interested. Though I cannot judge until I play the game, but he's at the lower rung of my personal list.
07. Varric- Ick, no thanks, I'll pass. Looks like a real creepo. :-p

But I will try all the romances available to ladies. I liked them all in DA:O, it will probably be the same in DA2.

Out of all obvious companions available to us, rank out of these, you would do the dirty with first in game and feel free to give reasons!
Aveline/Varric/Isabela/Fenris/Anders/Merrill
For example, mine;
1. Isabela [Obviously important. And she's fun!]
2. Anders [He had me at Awakening. :P]
3. Fenris [Badass much?]
4. Merrill [Blooood Magic. Kinky.]
5. Varric [Too short. But meh. Get a stool]
6. Aveline [...You were married good madam, and I killed your husband. Sex plz?]
Edit: Nearly forgot. Sebastian.
7. Sebastian [ANOTHER Cousland?]
2nd Hawke male warrior- Merrill( gotta keep the magic in my family strong
3rd Hawke female rouge- Probably Anders..... If he can have kids..... you know with his condition and everything...

2) Anders. I'm concerned about what I've heard, I won't lie. But I'd love the chance to romance him.
3) Sebastian. I'm doubtful they'd make a DLC character an LI, but it's he's one, I'll do at least one romance one.
4) The women. If I play a male Hawke. Maybe.
5) The only way a Varric romance is happening is if I have to romance everyone to unlock an achievement. And then I'll reload.

Once I get bored of that: Anders - Because his new plotline here is also very intriguing. I never was much for just straight snarky humor, as I feel I've more or less done that in Alistair, but with Justice/Vengeance now there, it could shake up the dynamic a good bit.

4. Merrill (at least one of the females for F/F hopeful)
5. Anders
6. Fenris
And we pretty much all know Sebastian won't be a romance.

1. Aveline
Reasoning: While we know very little about her as a character, I found her sense of loss and personal hardship very attractive. Here is a woman who knows what it means to cherish something, who knows what it means to lose that special something, yet retain the courage and drive to keep living her life.
Yes, she was married, and I've seen many people simply exclude here because of that fact which, quite frankly, saddens me. Life doesn't end if you lose a spouse, a person isn't 'blacklisted' from affection and genuine care just because he or she has known the touch and love of another person. Love, adoration, caring, these things do not demand nor require a bastion of purity in order to be experienced.
2. Merril
Reasoning: A fascination first and foremost. Here is a person from a similar yet vastly different humanoid species, which includes the different perspectives potentially inherit with a consciousness that, while it may be similar, could be completely different from how a human sees things.
It's much like a cultural shock. Bring some one to a country like the USA from a non-democratic country, and then compare and contrast what they believe life and living is suppose to entail versus what Americans believe it to be. It's a surprisingly fresh perspective on things that I'm looking forward to exploring with her character.
And she is very... very... cute. Squee.
3. Isabella
Reasoning: I know very little about her, except for the fact she likes to lace in innuendo with her ship and sailing in general. She was a slight amusement in DA:O, but little more then that, and what I have seen of her in the various videos/screen shots of DA2 suggests she's a saucy kitten whose as likely to lick you as she is to claw your eyes out. She's a woman with seemingly loose morals, or potential possessing a severe view point on how the world works and she knows how best to get what she wants or possibly needs.
An interesting character study, that's for sure, and one I will probably enjoy picking apart. My only hope for her is that she doesn't end up like Morrigan's romance. While I can certainly understand the Swamp Witches problem with relationships, I can't as of yet accept Isabella in the same light and hope it doesn't end similarly.
4: Anders
Reasoning: I enjoyed his character in DA:A, and not just him, but Justice as well. What happened to him in the interm, as well as Justice, will be of great interest to me. Out of all the 'potential' male LI's, he is by far the more personable to me, though this is in large part to our past acquantiance via Awakenings.
5: Fenris or Varric
Reasoning: I'm not particularly interested in either of them, but there's nothing wrong with their characters that makes me sigh away. In fact, it's the general lack of information that makes them unappealing. From what I know of Varric, the man is a professional thief and/or story teller. Can take anything he says at face value, but rather as a tapestry you have to unweave to discover any kind of truth below.
As for Fenris, I am simply curious about his past. Appearance means little to me (Dear god when did I become less shallow? Gah), so I'm not gushing particularly over his appearance. In a way, he resembles Merrill to me, life from a different perspective. I look forward to seeing what he brings to the table.
6: Sebastian
Reasoning: No particular reason.
