There appears to be just one general romance completion achievement this time, not one for each romancable party member.

I haven't decided my mage girls morals yet.  And true about the achievement....I will however romance everyone who is romancable. I am a gamer who likes to be thorough in my many many play throughs

If Varric is an option, I'd give the dwarf a tumble.

If I roll a male PC, Merrill probably, if the cute is not too annoying. But other than Fenris, nobody looks very appealing.

I think the issue is more so that you were there when he died.  I would feel weird romancing the widow of someone who I literally saw die (especially if I was the one who had to kill him).

Merill and Isabella are dead heat for second though I should replay the Dalish origin to learn more about Merill.

Only Merrill. Not interested in any of the males, and then Aveline and Isabella tied at the very bottom.

I mean, that's not to say I hate or dislike any of the characters simply as characters, but insofar as being Love Interests goes that's just how I'm feeling right now, before I've actually played the game.

Merrill, not a very sexy name but she'd have the cutest little nose ....and bottom (hope the welsh accent doesnt make her seem to plebeian but)



for boys i might like Fenris, graceful svelte outline, could be nice or maybe Prince seb, monks or nobles dont do much for me but I like his Fremen eyes.



Dont think ill touch Isabella, she seems a bit in love with herself and pirates smell of fish...i dont like fish:)

Here are my picks of the four revealed male companions:
1) Fenris; mmm, the angst tastes so good.  I wanted to play as a mage first to save Carver, but the appeal of a mage/Fenris romance cemented it.
2) Anders; woah boy, his glowy-eyed re-vamp almost put him at #1. Sucks, because a mage romance with him also seems appropriate but that's reserved for my first (and thus Fenris) playthrough.
3) Varric; love the personality - also appealing in that he seems to be the only male without apparent baggage. Highly doubt he'll be a love interest, though, but maybe he'll pull a Garrus for Dragon Age 3?
4) Sebastian; love the look and the accent, but of all the men his backstory seems a bit "done". Would still tap the crap out of it, mind you, if he proves to be romanceable (unlikely, sadly).

I also am holding a small lesbian candle of hope for Aveline.  Leliana and Liara are too girly-girly - a less typically feminine woman appeals more to my heterosexuality.

Ermm, well I was all set on Sebastian (I have a weakness for princes), but assuming he's not romanceable

• Fenris because he's a hot male elf who can phase!
• Anders - or possibly his guest, hah. I was always partial to his humor, and Justice = minor crush. Of course, things seem to be rather complicated, but hey, that makes it more interesting.
• Varric - well, he does have a fancy crossbow and is fairly charming. He's just third because I like taller guys.

EDIT: removed redundant prince comment! Actually, to modify my list, you can probably put Sebastian at number one and then move everyone else down - just in case he IS romanceable.

As I always look at the vids with voice turned off and try to avoid the spoilerious (is that even a word?) topics, I don't know much about the companions, but Isabela seems to be a nice good ol wench, eh?

1. Isabela (She seems like the most 'fun' experience, and I hope her personality adds something new to the twist)
2. Aveline (Jaheira 2.0, dead husband, badass warrior, no-nonsense lady)
3. Anders (Don't usually go for male-love interests, but the Justice/Vengance angle really elevated Anders, whom I found pretty boring in Awakening)
4. Fenris (Again, don't usually go for males, but he has a cool mysterious past, Weapon X kind of wibe)
5. Varric (I'm thinking he'll be hillarious and charming, and he could be the first Dwarven LI ever, that possibility alone is woth a try)
6. Merril (From what little we know of her... I'm just not feeling it. Too cute on the outside and to bloody(blood-magic) on the inside)

Most likely Merrill for my Male Hawke, I don't find Isabela very attractive or her "bad girl" personality. (No offense intended to anyone)

For my FemHawke, perhaps...Varris or Anders? The lack of confirmation for FemHawke Love Interests is agonising!

Anders: I would want to see how the whole 'possessed by Justice/Vengeance' thing is handled first...
Merril: NEVER. I don't even care how old she is supposed to be,she looks like she's 12 and that's just creepy. It wold be nice though for Hawke to treat her like another sister...
