Well you guys do have some options with aveline later in game at least

Going by pretty much just looks and the wee bit of info we've gotten here and there here's my list:

1. Fenris, he's got that mysterious badass thing going for him.

2. Anders, I crushed on him a bit in Awakening but the Justice/Vengeance thing is a bit akward and creepy so Fenris beats him, lol.

3. Sebastian, simply because he's pretty too look at, hehe.

4. Then, no one else, lol. Merril looks like she's 12, Varric looks like he hasn't showered in days, Aveline is too butch looking, and I've already had Isabella, no need to go there again, best not tempt fate... Hawke might not be as lucky as the Warden and catch something.

Merril, hopefully if she is romancable, her romance doesn't culminate with sex.

I ALWAYS play female characters. ALWAYS. That said, if Merrill is romanceable I'll simply have to whip up a male Hawke for the express purpose of seeing how blood magic may be applied in the bedroom. Also because she's adorable. If I didn't always play female characters I'd romance her right off the bat.



I'm betting that Varric is not a LI. Hence:

Yes, on both accounts.

O.o I mean sure, she's pretty skinny, but that's just an Elf thing now since their redesign... unless all you've seen of her at this point is just the first clip they showed of her a while back, and then I don't blame you since it appears she was standing pretty downhill from Hawke and the party.


edit: I actually found the same image but with the contrast/sharpness edited, so I've replaced the link. Not that it'll change any opinions after they've already been formed at this point, but still. Your logic is your own as to your reasons to not romance Merrill or any other character, but I'll leave it at I disagree.

In all fairness thin body with (visually) long limbs and fairly large head and little body curves is normal appearance for early human teenagers. Case in point, Mr.Gaider said they increased elf height precisely so the redesigned elves looked less like human children. So it may be "just and elf thing since redesign" but this "elf thing" also happens to be "teen thing" to a degree.

3) Isabella - darker skin tone ( love the hispanic girls ), but to too lewd for my tastes

1) Fenris - I want so much! He will be my first and only option if when (ya, just gonna keep telling myself that) available!

2) Anders - Sebastian would have this spot buuuuttt as he's a DLC I don't think he'd be availabe but if he is all these spots gets pushed down one.

3)Varric - What can I say, he's very suave and I do love me my dwarfs (I wished you could romance Oghren, ya, I said it!)!

4)Merrill - She seems adorable from the screenshots and I have a thing for elfs but I usually go for personalities mostly.

5) Isabela - This was a tough one. I really want to say it's a tie between her and Aveline because Aveline seems like she'll have the strongwilled personilty which is pretty cool. I like Isabela's new look though and she seems pretty slick.

6) Aveline - She's not last because ppl call her 'butch' and stuff but because like I said previously she's tied with Isabela really. I just put her last because I feel she would be more emotional over the death of her husband and I probably would be more inclined to help her with revenge then romance her.

2) Fenris, if he's a M/M option.

3) Merrill for the dude on other playthroughs or if Fenris isn't a romance or isn't a same-sex romance.

a confirmation is someone coming outright and saying something, not the implication of something due to irrelevant information. anyway what about fenris, varric and sebastain?
