He was Finn in Witch Hunt, and I'm expecting those two to make an appearance given the ending.

I believe it was already confirmed at the very least a month ago. I, personally, won't miss her character.

Oh, I haven't been following the news carefully. I thought that was still a possibility. Anyway, I won't miss her either. She was one of my least favourite characters.

But there's another actress I miss. Geraldine Blecker. She voiced my favourite character.

Well I guessed Eve Myles correctly at least! Looks like most of us were way off in regards to Lady Hawke though.



I say guessed, but to be honest my guess of Merrill being Myles was half wishful thinking - so I'm amazed it's actually her, I suddenly have a strong desire to scrap my previous plans and just take Merr everywhere with me.



Didn't look too closely at the full list, but very excited about the potential of returning characters - especially minor ones like Finn and Ariane. They were the best part of WH by far.

Wonder what's up with that Adam Howden guy. My guess is that he voices the possessed Anders? Greg Ellis had already confirmed a return for Anders on his facebook, so that must be why.

i still don't understand why Bioware would use Nicholas Boulton for Hawke. Having someone who voiced an (imo) Antagonist in Origins as the Hero in DA2 is an odd choice.

93 voice actors are listed in the credits.  44 out of the 93 were in Origins, Awakening, or one of the DA:O add-ons.


And, If anyone cares.... the DA2 voice-over directors from the credits:

Caroline Livingstone (VO Direction/Production/Casting)
Phil Evans (London VO Direction)
Damien Goodwin (London VO Direction)
Ginny McSwain (Los Angeles VO Direction) Very pleased to see that McSwain is involved again. She's one of the best in the business.

Weird that Greg Ellis shows up in the full list - I guess we'll have to see how that turns out in the full game.



I guess my biggest disappointment is not seeing Simon Templeman in there. I was really hoping that if you saved Loghain in DA:O he'd turn up somewhere for a cameo in DA2. Minor setbacks, I guess, and I'm still looking forward to the game and seeing how this Adam Howden bloke turns out.

I'm pretty sure that Jo Wyatt is not in Mass Effect.  Wyatt is a London-based VA.  Mass Effect casting only took place in LA and Edmonton.

-Or maybe Ellis' facebook post was misinterpreted?

He is listed in the larger credits list, just not specifically under Anders.  It's possible he's voicing other characters or that Anders will have 3 different voices throughout the game.  THE SUSPENSE.

No. It's kind of disappointing that they didn't bring him back (to reprise his role as Loghain or to voice another character).

He was in Origins as well, actually.

Hmm, the full list is not too shocking given that Bioware seems to have an excellent working relationship with its VAs, so lots of familiar facesvoices. Still, yaaay for more possible Origins cameos!

I'm surprised yet unsurprised to see Eve Myles as Merrill. Surprised because she's basically one of the only Welsh actresses North Americans know, so I thought speculation was mostly just based on that, but unsurprised because well, it makes sense I suppose.
