Speaking of Anders, has anyone noticed that when you go to gain Shale into your party that the man that says Shale killed his father and gives you the correct words looks JUST like Anders??

I don't think it's a big spoiler.  It's surprising. So in that way, I guess it's a spoiler.  It can be taken in a lot of ways.  I can imagine ways for it to be dark.  Or comical.  Or both.  Not sure I can imagine it being neither.

I don't know how he got into his predicament--what all went into his now being as he is.  I don't know how he'll deal with the challenges it presents in the course of the game.  And i don't know how he'll end up.

So none of the good stuff (assuming there is good stuff) is in there, it seems.  There's just one little shock that by itself is nothing without the supporting information that we'll have to play the game to see.

That said, regarding Anders, more spiritual succession to Baldur's Gate II, it seems.

I can seriously see some weird moments happening where Anders starts talking to himself, but is actually talking to Justice/Vengeance. Freaky.



I can also see the whole Wild Flower thing happening. Either you help Justice return to his former spirit state and thus keep Anders whole (like Chai Ka)... or you allow Vengeance to gain control of Anders' body and mind (like Ya Zhen). Oh, I hope for the first option! Even my most evil character on Jade Empire couldn't destroy a little girl like that.
