As much as I would love discussing the merits of Ashley and Kaidan related DLC, I don't think a thread about Garrus-related DLC is the place to do so.

I welcome anybody who supports the notion of Ashley and Kaidan related DLC to comment in the thread about it or to join the Ashley and Kaidan DLC Support group

ME2 is sorely lacking story.

LotSB was released in September. After 5 months we get an outfit DLC, which most noticeable feature is some heavy face-gear fetish from BW designers. Irrelevant

Garrus may be cool and all, but he's irrelevant to the ME's plot.

If there's going to be a DLC, should be important to the story.

VS helping to solve the Alliance-Cerberus-Shepard riddle, Wrex uniting all Krogan. Hell, Tali and Legion ending once and for all the whole Quarian - Geth mess...

Garrus ? Killing some random dude who's only relevant for him ? Killing mercs ? Aside from 4 or 5 missions, you do nothing but killing countless mercs in ME2.

I hope BW doesn't waste time on this.

I like Garrus, but no. I didn't mind playing Joker in ME2 as that little mission didn't last very long, but I don't want to play anyone else but Shepard in ME2 DLC or ME3. Even DA:O devs admit the non Warden DLCs were a mistake.

I would not buy a DLC featuring Garrus. And I most certainly wouldn't want him as the player character. I already didn't like the short sequence where we had to control Joker. This Mass Effect trilogy is Shepard's story, and Shepard should be the only character controlled by the player.

When I saw this thread I facepalmed cuz I knew is was going to get spammed by Ash Kaiden fans. Garrus is cool and all but I don't like how little dialogue he had in ME2, he was bff in ME1 he should have been ecstatic I was alive. Kaiden is such a boring character very whiny while Ash had interesting things to say. You can talk to her about religion FTW! Now thats an interesting character!

Sounds cool, but it's just unrealistic that they would do something like that. I would prefer an Anderson DLC, myself. VS fans are starting to get on my nerves, hijacking threads like that, I hope we get DLC news soon, so that everybody just calms down.

The closest you could get is that when multiplayer comes, you just choose Garrus as your playable char. Oh yeah, I went there.

@JackP

Just had to make it clear which one had Shep's back, that's all.

Even if VS could not join Shep it still pissed me off when they said, "The council can decide whether or not they believe your storie!" I'm like WTF, I just saved you from becoming a Collector smoothy and you still don't believe me. (That's the undertone of what their saying, they don't believe you, they think you are some weak ass punk who gets minipulated by Cerberus and not Commander ****ing Shepard the savior of the galaxy!) Garrus on the other hand knows who you are and makes a decision.

Personally, I found ME2 Garrus not at all reassuring as an ally and left him on the SR2.  I'd rather see less of him, if at all possible.

And I don't know what ME2 you played, but from what I saw on my screen, ME2 Shepard was some weak ass punk who got manipulated by Cerberus.  Nothing at all resembling the Commander [expletive]ing Shepard who saved the galaxy in ME1.

Anyway.  Ashley, Kaidan, and Wrex are the only squadmates not to have their due in ME2.  In the interest of fairness, any DLC that involves a squadmate ought to involve either the VS or Wrex.

If you experienced a weak ass punk Shepard then YOU were one.

Not a bad idea, I suppose. But Kaidan and Ashley need DLC, not so much Garrus.

There are some very interesting reactions to this thread.
I mean I love Shep as much as the next ME fan but what no variety? And since when does the VS have monopoly on the next DLC? (In fairness I agree that if possible a DLC with VS that bridges ME2 to ME3 would be best) but can I not have a DLC wish list of my own? WTF!Posted Image
The VS was a jerk on Horizon (if you romance them they send a "I'm sorry' email (more details not mentioned her)) so I guess a DLC to redeem their paranoid assumptions about Shep.
And yes, I don't like KaidAn (happy ChignonPosted Image) , he is boring and fan service with the only thing interesting about him, is that he killed a Turian for a girl and that he gets headaches. If the VS DLC comes out then I will only see Ash in it as I have never saved KaidAn.Posted Image

Wrex DLC would be cool too.

How about the next bioware games after M/E3 , Mass Effect Universe, where you can play as Thane as he tracks down his wifes murderers , Garrus/Archangel adventures on Omega or Samara's adventures as a justicar, all these would before the events of ME2 of course

Phrase "one week before DLC and two weeks before ME3" makes me think there will be only one DLC. I hope I'm wrong. So about "cutting ties" and apexing one of the plotlines:
Alliance/Cerberus/Council connection and their actions as preparation for Reapers invasion. In fact, this is a thing I usually call "VS" DLC (Character may be affected: Anderson, Ashley/Kaidan, Miranda, Jacob, maybe Kasumi and her grey box may be mentioned).
Geth/quarians: war, peace and Rannoch (Characters connected: Tali, Legion, all quarian admirals and Kal'Reegar).
Rachni. (Have no idea about characters... maybe Samara/Morinth because of the way to communicate with them).
Krogans and genophage (Characters connected: Wrex, Grunt, Mordin, maybe cpt. Kirrahe mentioned).
I see Garrus only if as something connected with ME: Inquisition and definitely can't imagine anything about his being of Archangel.

If they were to do a 'Leliana's Song'-style DLC for Mass Effect I would want it to be about Garrus over anybody else but really I think it should stay focused on Shepherd, as everybody else has said.

Nah, I like Garrus where he is...does say in the LOTSB dossiers that he would be better off without Shepard...that he's basically a bug under toe. Garrus wants to be free and abhors most leadership. He follows Shep because he/she does what it takes to rid the universe of scum and in ME1, remember, Garrus leaned toward your Shep's renegade choices.

They could just make a little Garrus iPhone game that's what bio did for Miri and Jacob in mass effect galaxies
