I have the Meredith and Arishok Lithos, they look better in person then they do on the site. Though Meredith is my least favorite of the DA2 lithos.
Aw, really? I'd really prefer to see more character lithos, so I was excited when I saw that one. Heck, I'll take more DA lithos period.

When I had some of my artwork with certificates professionally framed, I asked them to figure out a way that the certificate could be stored with the artwork in the frame. The solution was to make a pouch out of the backing paper that the certificate could safely slide into and remain with the artwork as long as it is stored in the frame. Worked well for me and you only need to flip around the frame to see the certificate.vometia wrote...
What I completely failed to consider was where the certificate of authenticity should go: had I thought about it in advance I'd have ordered a longer frame and had a separate hole cut in the mount for it. Perhaps another time, in the meantime I'll pop it in one of those archival photo sleeves and tape it to the back of the frame.

It's okay. It's hard to say with something that's always quite a subjective matter, but for me personally, it's quite neutral: it doesn't really come along and grab me, but on the other hand it's not something I regret buying either. I guess ultimately it comes down to whether or not the slightly cartoony art style appeals to you.crusadeonacid wrote...
I'm not sure if I missed this somewhere along the line, but did anyone get the Meredith litho? It looks very cool and I'm wondering if it stand up in person.
I'm not sure I understand: does that mean there's a hole cut in the backing board? Or that there's some other sort of aperture on the back? Sorry that I need clarification, I'm often a bit slow on the uptake unless something is pointed out in very obvious terms!Beocat wrote...

As for me, I still think I'll tape one of those archival-quality clear plastic envelopes to the back and pop the certificate in there. Which I should really get on with doing before I manage to lose it, because I'm good at that.
And I still haven't updated the OP.

Its pretty, and its reduced isnt it? Definitely worth owning i think, the Arishok one is definitely my favourite of the two, though

No need to say sorry or anything Vometia. I know without looking at a picture, which I didn't take a picture of the back with the certificate, it would be hard to imagine. The place I've been getting my frames also puts some kind of craft paper on the back, just regular brown paper, that's supposed to help keep the frame from scuffing up your walls. Since it covers the back (and the hanging wire goes above and across that), they just used extra paper to add a "pocket" for the certificate.vometia wrote...

Honestly, an envelope would likely work the same though I'd be worried still about losing it. If you can put it in a folder in your filing cabinent, that would be your best option. I do that with a lot of the LE statues that I own since storing the certificate with them is almost impossible.

As many of you know Walls360 has lots of awesome ME related art which was previously unavailable. This has extended across EA's wider spectrum of games and is rapidly expanding, so if you havent got it bookmarked, it may be an idea.
At the moment they have Battlefield 3

Mirrors Edge

Dead Space

Alice Which also has some unseen stuff that Treehouse Brand Stores never stocked as Lithos.

Dantes Inferno

Oh, since this topic has resurfaced, I did want to say that I talked to Parrish Ley at Comic Con. He seemed very interested to know what the fans wanted in terms of lithos, and why the last few haven't sold very well. I was more than happy to oblige, and he said he'd talk to Derek Watts about it, so we'll have to see what the future brings.

I think I remember a topic for swaps and things, but I'm so completely out of date right now! Anyway, didn't want to come across too heavy about the trading stuff, I'd rather this just stayed on the subject of general discussion.CDRSkyShepard wrote...

That's really pretty good news. I was about to say it'll be interesting to hear some feedback, but I guess that's what he was doing! Let's hope they find a bit of inspiration for future releases.CDRSkyShepard wrote...

He was such a sweetheart, too. Very genuinely curious and open to suggestions. He's a fan of collecting them himself, apparently, so it was something we both could talk about with great enthusiasm. ^-^vometia wrote...

That sounds great!! I hope you suggested Mordin/Sur'Kesh! =P Well, looking forward to seeing what they do with that!
Not sure if this is entirely relevant here, but Valve are bringing out an Art of Portal book later in the year. I have been checking their website regularly but no new lithographs have gone up... good for saving money I guess! Still, looking forward to seeing the book

That sounds quite interesting, I'll keep an eye out for that. I guess we could cover books too, not least because I've almost run out of space to display artwork.BeanieBat wrote...

I don't remember if I said Mordin specifically, but I did emphasize that if they're a ME2 squaddie who hasn't had a litho yet, they need one. I'm sure Sur'Kesh is coming if the Thessia ones sell well.
Great!

along with some other prints/posters. Unfortunately it's $86 for shipping to the UK. I'm out, but if anyone is interested it can be found here:
https://store.2k.com...=All&srt=&c=IRR
And there are a few Borderlands screen prints up too. Again, not signed, but limited to 250. I picked up the Mordecai one, as he's my favourite
