Where do you get the Halo Lithos from?

Edit: That looks great Vom. With any luck they will still have the non LE versions when an if I ever get room for one.

I have the alice minis, the Tears bigger lithograph AND the limited Vorpal blade print :P

No, you cant mix, something to do with royalties. Ive asked Domino before, if i find the PM ill post it here

Here we go

Ms Domino6:48 PM 2011-03-28Hello! Unfortunately, although we operate both stores we cannot combine shipments between the two. It all comes down to royalties and licensing and accounting...

My apologies, as I know how pricey postage is.

Thanks Namira.  May have to give it more of a think because of as said pricey postage.  They look really good though and now seeing your pic of the Vorpal poster I better make a decision soon!  :D

Arghhh, i really like those and i've been thinking them over, but i dont want to pay 80 dollars for each one

I recommend the Vorpal print for Alice:Madness returns, its limited, handmade and very pretty

Yeah I was a bit unsure about getting them too, then I realised how much the shipping cost to the UK and that decided it for me - not a chance!  But then I spotted those 2 on ebay and was only charged $19 shipping so I gave in!

Those Halo thingies look good, even though I'm not into Halo at all!  I had a look and happily their credit card system seemed to be broken.  Sadly, I then discovered their Paypal link worked properly.  Damn!

Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention, the Visceral Store has a bunch of Ishimuras back in stock for those who like that sort of thing: personally I think it's one of the better lithos from that series, and there's only 20-odd left last time I looked, so be quick if you want one!

Also, I figured I'd repost the assorted lithos and things I framed yesterday now that my frames and mounts have finally arrived.  Not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with them overall.  Though I discovered that the MDF backing board isn't that good for artwork so I'll have to dismantle them again and pad them out with ph-neutral card, but I guess I can live with that.  This is the first time I've attempted to colour-coordinate the mount/matte/border/whatever the hell it's called, too: I'm really rather pleased with the results.  Poor old Doctor Who looks a bit tatty, but this is the first time he's been framed in the 30+ years I've had him.

Ow my fingers!  Chell with added blue mount thingy.

Aperture Labs without mount

Image IPB

Aperture Labs with (very thin) black mount

Liara with added blue and reflections.

Tali.  Took me ages to decide who should get this frame.  It was either her or Legion, and I knew I'd end up wanting whoever didn't get it, because my mind is a bugger like that.

Image IPB

Ancient signed Tom Baker poster.  It's slightly wonky, but I think it's been through enough so I won't molest it again.

I spotted them too... unfortunately they don't have the one that I would really like (Happy Hunting, to match 'A Heavy Toll'). I've only managed to find it in stock on one site and they charge more for shipping to the UK than the actual giclee costs! Good luck with those ones though!

Also, nice frames Vometia!  I'm very jealous of the Liara litho! =P

Eugh. Take2 order had the pooist packaging in the history of poo packaging. Its all a bit dog eared, some came in a hard tube though, and those turned out fine.

Imho, Take2 changed a lot about their store. Not only the available shipping methods but also the packing. It was fine before, but when they started UPS Express only for international addresses, the packing went downwards. :( Not recommended anymore.

Thanks!  And I acknowledge I'm probably very fortunate to have nabbed that lithograph.  I still wonder if there are others out there since they seem to have been distributed rather randomly.

I think mine arrived via DHL who I have a special irritation with (not impressed to write to their head honcho about the problems I've experienced only to be ignored) but it does seem that most of the couriers have exceptionally bad customer service, sadly.

The original post is! Updated now, as well as another couple of Portal 2 lithographs (unsigned) that surreptitiously sneaked out.

So, there are new Alice MR prints and giclees at the THBS Alice store. alice2store.com

And of course, I had to find THE ultimate black/white print to go with the Alice image by Yos.h.i.t.aka (given name is censored without dots) Amano and the b/w cartoon of little old me. I hate June - money-wise. *angry mumbling*

I'm resisting, so far. There are a couple on the 1988 art site I would've liked, but I'm actually glad to not have the expense! I'll update the OP with the new art once my brain stops hurting.

I caved and updated the OP anyway.  Now I have a bigger headache.  I also caved and bought the Zeng Shuo and Angryblue prints, even though I think $40 is a bit steep for an unsigned poster.  I've probably added all manner of typos, so if anyone sees one, let me know.

No, I do not want that thing.  I'd rather adopt my sister's My Little Pony collection.

Edit: smeg, talking of typos...

According to a FB answer, the screen prints are on thick paper. Let's see ...

Treehouse Brand Stores: these are all screen prints, not posters. Thicker paper than poster paper.

Thanks for that.  Looks like I'll be needing a new "posters on thicker paper" category since they're markedly different things IMHO.  But perhaps another day...

They told me that about it being thicker after i asked if it were just standard poster, i then asked if they meant like the vorpal blade screen print and they said they'd do a bit of research. Ive bought them anyway lol, so we'll know that way

I'm hardly a huge fan of Dr. Who, but Tom Baker was certainly the best. Some actors just culminate the "it-factor" and he seemed to have it for that role.
