I have certain issues with aspects of the asari's design, but they're my favourite race. I admire their wisdom, strength, beauty, power and willingness to understand others.

Quarians top my list, and geth come in a close second. And not because they were made by quarians. Third place is awarded to the asari. All the other races run about the same in interest after that.

Turians--I mean, we have Garrus, Saren, Nihlus... and even the side characters are awesome. Pallin, Lorik Qui'in, heck, even Velarn. 
Runner-ups would be the geth. And the Reapers, of course.

I wasn't talking about choosing humans over the other species (all the time
)but I just like the overall characters better. Like Ashley, Kaidan, Tim, Gianna, Joker, Anderson.
