May not be a big deal for some but it has been rattling around in my head for a while now.

I just wanted to say thanks to BioWare, who might not see this but oh well, for a truly epic SciFi RPG that you call Mass Effect.  Not the single game, but the series as a whole.  Not since Buck Rogers on the PC many years ago has a sci-fi rpg gotten me so wrapped up to where I seem to play it endlessly.
I like KOTOR 1&2, I'll always love Star Wars, and those games were great.  So I'd never say anything againt those.

Most of my RPGs are Fantasy based.  BioWare storytelling is just awesome as are the moral choices.  Probably the best part of their games.  I still do a playthrough of Jade Empire and KOTOR2 from time to time.  Been playing their games since the Baulder's Gate days.
I recently read the DRM for Dragon Age 2 and was happy that BioWare continues to provide long term plans to patch out DRMs so that if the worse case happens, the players who love it can still go back to play it years down the road.  There are people who still play NWN2, Baulder's Gate, etc..  Technology changes so those games remain on older machines but they can still be played regardless.

Some games stand the test of time.  I'd like to think the Mass Effect series will be one of them.

Perfectly said.
Thank you to all the Bioware staff over the years.

When I saw your avatar I though it was "end of the line" thinking people started to flame here.

Well, I'm too long on this forum then i guess.

Bioware, you rock!

I also want to thank bioware. Mass effect was such a brilliant fresh idea and a great series. I just hope mass effect 3 won't be the end, i'm sure it won't be as it is a successful franchise but it would just be so sad for shepards story to come to an end.

I also have to post my thanks to Bioware.

Mass Effect is at the top of my taste for games since I finished the first game, and ME2 is even better. Some people here are filling the forum with hate topics about ME2, but, if you read this, I want you guys to know that there are people here that looks to ME2 as a superior game.

Also, love the change of pace.

I'd also like to thank you for being such a nice community moderator. I really like how Bioware is communicating with the fanbase, definitely not something I see every day. Keep up the good work!

Have to agree this game is certainly one of the most enjoyable and entertaining games I have played. I love the story and the characters heck I love them all. So thanks bioware and I hope that mass effect 3 it being the last of the franchise will go out with a huge bang..

Thank you BioWare for one of the best game series I've ever played. I can honestly say  it is up near the top (if not at the top) of my favorite games.

Haha I thought the same thing, but then saw it wasnt locked so I thought it was gonna have a "be excellent to each other" type message.  Wrong again lol.

But yeah, if Bioware were a female entity, I'd so marry it <3

Echoing the love - I got bit by the bug yet again in January and am currently putting the finishing touches on a 7th playthrough. Man I love this game. Cannot begin to express how excited I am for ME3. I'll just have to play ME2 to hold me over I guess... >.>

When thinking about my mortality one of my biggest fears is not being able to finish a book/videogame series I like before I die. Mass effect is on that list. Heres hoping none of us get hit by cars in the future.

Yeah, because there aren't new butt-kissing threads that often...

Can't someone just sticky a thank you/we love you/you're great etc etc thread for praise of Bioware? How many threads saying exactly the same thing do we need here?

I too will use this thread to thank BioWare for the great games they make. My first experience with them was with the original KOTOR way back in '04. I enjoyed it so much that when I heard about Jade Empire, I decided to give it a try. After enjoying that one even more I became a huge BioWare fan. Now, if I see a game is being made by BioWare I automatically look into it. This has rewarded me with experiencing Mass Effect and Dragon Age. All because my enjoyment of Star Wars took me to KOTOR. So thank you BioWare, for making great games.

Indeed. I don't think I've seen near the amount of community interaction from other developer's websites that BioWare gives us.
