Whenever i play quazar 5 times and win (for the quest) The game suddenly crashes with this message displayed:

"Rednering thread execution
General protection fault!

History: GZLibFile::~GZLibFile() Address = 0x115baa33 (filename not found) [in C:\\Program Files\\Mass Effect\\Binaries\\MassEffect.exe]"

Then data execution protection shuts down the game.

Sounds like a corrupt installation. You should reinstall (retail) or verify game files (digital download).



Also, have you installed DX 9.0c that came with the game?

I dont recall being asked about DX.
At least this is a minor thing, completed the quest another way.

Sounds like you aren't patched. Get 1.02
