 With everything that the devs have said about companions having their own personalities and goals, etc etc... I am curious if Hawke will be running around Kirkwall with his three companions in tow, like the Warden did everywhere outside of camp. It's a minor thing, I know, but some more solo events as Hawke would be interesting.

If companions have their own drives and errands, and if the inventory for characters will be as drastically changed as it sounds... then, really, wouldn't it make perfect sense for all your companions to go about their business as soon as you enter town? With the inventory change, you wont need to drag your companions around to shops for the purpose of updating their gear. Exploring Kirkwall, alone, bumping into your friends, getting jumped by bandits in an alley and having to fight them off by yourself... that would be one of the little touches that I'd really enjoy.

I mean, we always talk about side quests for the companions, but hell... this could open up a side quest for Hawke. Something that he wants to do alone.
