I'm sorry if this question's been asked before, but I haven't found any straight forward answers to this. If I'm going to be plopping down over 40 dollars (shipping :S) for this, I rather be absolutely clear on the confusing parts.
The sizing chart for the ladies thermal hoodies only show length and width. The length part is pretty obvious, but it's the width that concerns me. How do we measure the width exactly? Do we measure across the chest or just grab a tight fitting shirt and measure that? I get different measurements depending on which method (about 17 inches across the chest, 15.75 if I measure all the way around my chest and divide it by 2 and 14.5 if I measure a tight fitting shirt).
I've never bought a piece of clothing online before and I rather avoid having to exchange. If it helps at all, I'm looking to buy this hoodie specifically: http://biowarestore....7-thermal-hoody
Thanks!

I believe the proper way to measure the shirts/hoodies is from collar to bottom and armpit to armpit, with the clothing being measured laid out on a flat surface.
Just recently ordered a thermal, we'll see if that was correct or not

length is measured form the top the shoulder where it attaches to the collar and width is one inch under the bottom of the armpit.

Thanks for the responses.
MSparkyPants, I would love to hear an update when you get the thermal

Zephyria, I own the N7 Fancy Thermal in size small (Edit: note, this is not the hoodie thermal, but I thought maybe the info would be useful anyway). It has been washed multiple times. The fabric is quite stretchy, so take that into consideration. I measured mine laying flat and unstretched... width was more like 15in, length 24in.
I typically wear a small in clothing, and I find this fits pretty normal. I hope this is helpful!

Ahh, thanks for the info, Tentura. I was also wondering if the print on your thermal has worn off yet or it's adhered to the fabric pretty well? Or do you turn it inside out to preserve it?

I do turn my shirts inside-out when washing, but I have not had a problem with it fading. Even my older bioware shirts have held up very well.
Only warning about the thermal - because the fabric is a looser stitch (not sure if that's the best way to describe it?), be careful of things that might snag it. Mine has a little dimple now from where a friend's dog jumped on me and damaged it.

Thanks for the info and the warning! I appreciate it
Now I gotta wait for the size smalls to be restocked...I hope it does
Edit: Apparently they're not going to restock the size small...ugh, all that effort to ask the question only to realize I can't even buy the item! Oh well, I still appreciate the answers

Restock may happen. Our supplier is currently out of smalls so it may be a while.

I've been waiting a long time for a restock of the "Save the Nugs" in women sizes. Is it safe to say that it's not happening?
(I know there's a men version on discount, but the women v-neck style was just soooo cute. It was gone by the time I had the money to order multiple shirts from the site.)
@Zephyria -- I find that these shirts are pretty much similar to junior sizes. If you usually wear a large in juniors, you should have no problem with the equivalent with the Bioware versions. The shirts are on the thin side, but I love their lengths (goes down past the natural waist).
Waiting on Lady Hawke shirts in lady sizes in the meantime! /eye store =p

Gilsa - what size do you need. We won't be restock that shirt, but we usually have a few in each size left over.
On the thermal hoody the blanks are back in stock so expect it back in the store around the end of the month.
