Recently, I had an idea to create some fan images using the Mass Effect 2 models.

But I don't seem to be able to find "textured" models anywhere.
Well, some of the models I wanted were textured, but others were not.
See below.

Geth Pulse Rifle, Collector Armor (Female) and Geth Plasma Shotgun

Textured

Is there a way to view these models with their textures applied, as it were.

Disclaimer:
I'm not hacking the models ingame or making inappropriate images.
I just want clear images to make my fanart with.
As far as I know, it's pretty hard to get Tali to pose with my Shepherd while we're holding the Geth plasma shotguns or Garrus and Legion to stand next to each other holding the Geth Pulse Rifles.

Well, I have some models from the game, all textured. I downloaded them from a website for Garrys Mod and converted them into a filetype that can be used on blender. Im not sure how to package them to send, or if I even need to do that XD but Im sure this can be useful. Download the models from the website and use StudioCompiler to convert the models (with the .MDl extention) to a .SMD format. You can get the textures using VTFEdit. If you have blender (the newest version) you can get a script to import .SMD files.

Yeah I know it seems like a lot of work lol, but it saves you the wait of finding someone else with the models or waiting on a reply.

Heres the website by the way (I'll link ya to some ME2 models also) http://www.garrysmod...a=view&id=93623 you can go to the search on that site and find some other models if you wish, thats how Ive gotten mine. Fairly easy once you get everything set up (at least for me), and given you have experience in texturing and such in Blender, or other 3D programs.

Other sites:
VTFEdit: http://nemesis.thewa....php?c=178#p178
StudioCompiler: http://www.chaosinca...=studiocompiler (cant remember if you need MDLDecompiler too or not)
Blender 2.5: http://www.blender.o...ad/get-blender/
and the script needed for Blender: http://developer.val...ender_SMD_Tools

Hope this helps ^^
