Hm, so Aveline isn't an LI, then? Figured as much, especially after DG described her as being sisterly. I can't picture romancing someone who's like a sister to you.

So, looks like Merrill will be the straight option for m!Hawke and Isabela the bi option. I'm still going with my gut and saying Fenris will be the straight option and Anders the bi option for fem!Hawke. I still think Sebastian will be a bonus bi LI and nothing anyone says will make me change my mind, unless you have something that proves he's not, obviously. Saying, "but he's DLC! That automatically disqualifies him!" isn't proof, that's just an assumption. Assumptions don't fly with this gal, nuh-uh! No, ser. Proof now, admission of being wrong after.

That said, there is most likely another companion in DLC. If Sebastian is a LI, then so would that (probably female) companion.

I'm disappointed Aveline isn't a love interest, though I suppose I don't know that much about her anyway. My Hawke can probably still have a deep relationship with her, despite never being intimate. Maybe Merrill will be a fine character to be in a relationship with, I'll wait until I play the game. This was a good article.

Sorry, sorry........................ I'll get me coat  It is just that why would it be such a terrible thing for the female gamer to get more choices for once?
As it happens you are probably right, history shows us that the male gamer always gets more.
Either way, I am really looking forward to the game and have pre ordered two signature editions (PS3 and 360)  and have had money sidelined for ages for it!

Honestly, this is one of my biggest worries about this news. Oh, aside from the fact that I'm disappointed because I had my heart set on Aveline for my maleHawke.  Darn that trailer that shows Aveline whilst saying "relationships" can build over years or somesuch. This one  , around 3:23.  My fault, for reading "romance" out of "relationship", I suppose.
