Balls.
Oh well, I was only going to make one maleHawke anyway. I wonder if Merrill or the male LI don't mind being the second place prize.

Seems this also means Varric's not an option...Aimo's not going to be happy about that, judging by the amount of Varric-art she's produced D:
Uh, no; I like him as a character first and foremost, so just because he's not an LI doesn't mean I'll stop drawing fan art of him. He's that fun to draw, aesthetically-speaking...Mary Kirby and Matt Rhodes really broke the mold when they designed this fine dwarf

Is me or does it sounds like Aveline is a friend with benefits
That's... one way to look at it, but I was rather under the impression that anything like that would be a big no with her.

Buzzwords galore.Or how about Jaheira. She was a fighter/druid who blew hot and cold and didn't take crap from anyone.well, if you go back quite a bit in time, bioware have done
female warrior LIs in the past, Bastila from KotOR was a jedi sentinel
(the finesse and skill jedi rather than the strength and HP jedi,
admittedly, but all jedi are warriors of one kind or another, and she
had double-bladed saber, which is ridiculously cool IMO) and would hold
her own very well in melee combat
Being a half elf and a druid (spellcaster) kinda dilutes her warrior/tank cred. Like I said earlier, it's not that there are no romancable female *fighters*, but that those who exist are not dedicated warriors in the purest sense of the class and/or they are of a race that is physically inferior stat-wise or shorter/willowy/graceful compared to the average human (note: I am not saying any of these are bad things in the real world, just that the other side of the coin hasn't been flipped in the game world).
BG2 Female Romance Characters:
Viconia, Spellcaster (cleric). Elf.
Jaheira: Spellcaster/Fighter (Druid/Warrior). Half-elf.
Aerie: Spellcaster (mage). Elf.
Mazzy is the only 'true' female Fighter companion in BG2. She is not romancable, and she's a halfling (which in the D&D setting means she gets a racial -2 STR penalty for being short
I *am* glad we're getting Aveline as a female tank! I just hope we get a romancable female tank one day because...we've never really had one (yet if you're a lady, there's a big strong knight in shining armour around every corner...).

Jack's a real tool if you play femshep, I really feel like I am missing out. Why can you only break her walls down if you are romancing her? I would have thought to be perfectly honest, that she needs a good friend more than she needs a lover!
And lol, at the Tali comment

Friendships dialogues in ME2 was
seriously missing. Just too many npc i guess to write for. I can never
do the Jack romance as MShep to me she's just to messed up.[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/blushing.png[/smilie] She needs help, a friend more than anything else well in my opinion.
yep, I felt like a lot of the romance dialogue with Jack could have been and should have been stuff a friend could say, particularly the "In fact, having a few conversations with you isn't going to resolve your deep psychological issues, but that's okay, I want to hang out anyway" conversation, particularly because it's written so well that I wanted to hug my Shepard for saying exactly what I wanted to convey.
Big pity that I can't say that stuff as a friend who'll always be there and thinks she's just fine the way she is. I'd agree that she's ****ed up enough already without the emotional intensity of a romantic relationship to complicate things, I kinda felt like it'd be more respectful in fact to not romance her even in a paragon way.
As for Tali, I've since realised that my main Shep isn't really right for her, in fact he's not really right for any of the LIs apart from Jack maybe. A better fit would be Gianna Parasini if anything or Shiala the green commando-since Bioware made a few hints toward something in ME3 in both cases (or I interpreted them as hints)
I'm a little worried about a friendship path for Fenris, actually, given his likelihood to be a LI, I'll be sad if I can't bromance him as a guy, though if I can romance him as a guy that'll be kinda cool

I was mostly sarvastic (didn't realize until later I didn't use a very good emoticon to show that...), but whatever. Yay! More Aimo-art- err, I mean, that's good to hear
Dare you to ship Varric and Aveline.
That, would be SO win! Do eet, plz?

They actually really need to stop doing this.... It is what causes a lot of unnecessary dislike of many characters - Kaidan for example, Jacob, Jack and so on..............<_<Dellingr wrote...

Alistair was a mighty fine bromance for male characters with a similar morale compass.

Yeah, that was most likely because you could still get to know him and he has a sense of humour which is sorely lacking in many of the romanceable characters_Loc_N_lol_ wrote...
