No...the intro where you see Hawke beating up all sorts of Darkspawn and an Ogre and then Flemeth swoops (yes swoops) down is set in Lothering.  There are two versions of it, the initial version that Varric tells is an exaggerated version (the story of Hawke the legend).  Varric gets called on it and then tells the other version (the story of Hawke the man).  So, as I stated, it's at the beginning of Hawkes story, not the end of things...

that scene is set on the mountains... and Lothering is plain... moreover the landscape doesn't really look like Lothering.

You see Lothering in the Rise to power Trailer... Hawke is fleeing with is family from there...

Ok, Im going to have to put this as simply as I can.  In the first 2 minutes of the game, Varric (the narrator) tells the story of the Hawke family leaving Lothering and making their way to Gwaren so they can hitch a ride on a ship to go to Kirkwall.  The gaming experience that features the Darkspawn that we have seen (in the first 2 minutes of the gam) is a sequence set in LOTHERING.  If you can't understand multiple people explaining this to you, then I guess you'll just have to go on your merry way being wrong about this...

o.0 Let us explain it one more time. The first two minutes is the Dwarf telling the story that "everyone knows" and then he gets called on it and begins to tell the true story.

And where in the world did you get an idea that Flemeth was limited to the Korcari Wilds? And Lothering happens before you even get a chance to kill Flemeth.

Ok, I'll try this one last time (Im nothing if not persistent I guess

1.  The game is told in a framed narrative.  This means the narrator (Varric) is at the end of the story telling the story to another character (Cassandra) and we (the player) are playing the game through essentially flashbacks.

2.  Varric initally tells Cassandra the story of Hawke that everyone supposedly knows.  The badass who goes about shooting lightning out his arse, wearing wicked armour, and killing everything with his pinky finger.  Cassandra calls BS and orders Varric to tell her the real story

3.  replay of escape from Lothering with Hawke and family in "non-exaggerated form" (meaning he is wearing typical armour), at the end of the sequence Flemeth swoops down, kills darkspawn, and tells hawke "since you're heading that way, bring this to kirkwall)

4.  If you ever read your codex after "killing" Flemeth, you'll know that she's not really dead.

5.  If you ever went to "kill" Flemeth, you know you can only do that after you get the grimoire and the assignment from Morrigan.  This takes place (if I remember correctly) after the destruction of Lothering; giving Flemeth time to fly up to Lothering (just north of her hut), breathe fire on Darkspawn, give the assignment, and run back and "die" at the hands of the Warden.

6.  If you remember the scenery of DA:O Lothering, it really isn't the flat plain that you describe.

7.  If this, or anything else that anyone says, doesn't convince you, Im sorry there's not much more we can say and some people simply refuse to see the truth (don't worry, I won't call you a troll, but rather simply misinformed)

So, someone powerful enough to transform themselves into a dragon isn't powerful enough to, say, make herself look younger or older?  Maybe make themselves look weaker to one person and then make themselves look more powerful to a diferent person?

To add onto the scenery point, it has also become corrupted by the Darkspawn.

Also, don't forget, Varric is the one telling the story. There's no way that Flemeth, the fabled Witch of the Wilds is actually just a crazy old lady in a tattered dress living in a hut in a swamp.
