Sten to appear in DA2?

I think this probably is the sword you find and give back to Sten in Origins. How come that sword is in the Free Marches?
Did Sten go back to Par Vollen passing through the Marches? Or maybe Sten takes part to the invasion of the Free Marches? He could be a Qunari General or something like that... he could appear in DA2.

Edit: Also if you did not know yes Sten is a title not his name. It would be like calling someone General.

NO!! The devs have said flat out. You never see Sten in the game. not once. not even in the backround.
This. Although the Laidlaw did indicate that this doesn't mean he will never return ever at all.
As much as I'd like to see more of him (being a certified Sten Fangirl and all), I'd be happy if they just let it lie and we never see him again, too. (I would prefer this to a brief pointless cameo.) I would actually be perfectly content if we never saw ANY of the characters from Origins EVER AGAIN EVER. But of course we will.

As Qunari are very present in DA2... I think a short reference or appearence of Sten is possible...
references, most likely, will appear for all DA:O squadmates
an appearence? unlikely.

Yeah but with the way things are going he might be the only one not showing up...

I don't think that the Might of Sten is Asala. Do you remember why Sten wanted to find his sword so badly in DAO? It's because he would be killed on sight if he returned to his homeland without it. To have him lose it again, this time in the Free Marches, would be silly.riccaborto wrote...
You probably noticed one of the DLC is a Sword named "Might of the Sten".

In one frame per playthrough, Sten will walk by. You can do nothing except admire.

Er, I don't think he was worried too much about dying. (He seemed pretty okay with being left to die in Lothering, after all.) He went berserk because a.) he'd just watched his men, the men he was RESPONSIBLE for, get slaughtered right in front of him and he couldn't do anything about it, b.) he was horribly wounded himself and nearly died, c.) he just found out that his sword was missing so he wouldn't be able to ever go home without his people rejecting him as a deserter, d.) he believed deserters were just about the worst kind of person it was possible to be, and e.) he was surrounded by humans, who he despises.
It wasn't getting killed that bothered him, it was the shame of his failure coupled with intense loneliness and isolation.

The sword also appears in Dragon Age Legends so you are most likely wrong
And stop using all caps for questions it makes you look annoying
