Ok so I know some people are sick and tired of hearing about her, and the same applies to romance. I myself am pretty tired of it as well. But I decided to just check out some pages on the dragon age wikia and scrolled through Isabella's page. At the bottom it says how  "Isabela was the first Romance announced for both male/female Hawke". Now odviously she will be a male romance option and I have no doubt she is a female romance option as well due to the possibilities availiable in DAO. But I went through all the reference links at the bottom of her page and I saw nothing confirming her as a female romance option... Like I said it is pretty common knowledge she will be, but is there any article or posting by someone from Bioware saying she will be? I'm only irritated about this because there is no link and if there is proof I would like to put the link on her page. Here is the link to her wikia page: dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Isabella ...But of course if David Gaider pops in here and says "Isabella will NOT be a female romance option she was just going through a period of confusion furing the events of DAO." I will at the very least cry myself to sleep for the next week and a half.

Welll....what about the dev diary where it shows her making out with male Hawke...? Or are you looking for something in writing?

Isabella will NOT be a f/f LI. Neither will she be a straight LI, nor a companion of any sort.

Isabela (one L) on the other hand is the pirate companion who is a LI most likely for both sexes.

yea I know it has been confirmed pretty clearly in that dev diary that she will be a male romance option, it is the female one that has not benn seen in video/in writing... at least that I know of

Besides she sleeps with the Warden (regardless of gender), maybe Leilana (if Harden), and/or Zevran at the same time. So yeah, hard to choose between Isabela or Merrill (if she ends up as a confirmed LI for Hawke.)

But even storywise, she's something of a bisexual hedonist. It wouldn't make sense for  that to change.

While I doubt she would be a f/f only, it would be fun if there were some characters who were exclusively gay just like Morrigan and Alistair were exclusively straight.



My only question is based on the fact that with the exception of my first play through due to the hardening requirements I never did her part in the story until close to the end, after hardening the others, so is that going to be taken into account in the time line for DA2. I mean if 'hawke' leaves Lothering before it's destroyed and she is still in the pearl until most of the main quests are done.... It makes it hard to reconcile unless he has a lot to do before he leaves.

I mean with Anders he can just not show up until later on the storyline, but Isabella is his way out of Ferelden so you can't 'put her off' like that.

I just hope they took that into consideration.
