I' sure I have red it somewhere... it is possible to romance characters that are not in your party.

Maybe a Beautiful, Powerful, Rich Woman... to rise to Power by making her believe you truly love her?

Or maybe you can romance Flemeth? (Wleah....)

Yes they said various NPC around Ferelden.....I imagine that means such flings as in Origins

Or better yet, sleep with noblemans daughters, then make a despereate escape attempt in the morning: How many clothes can you manage to equip before being forced to flee the noble estate? =D

Most of them are likely flings, like the Pearl in Denerim, Gheyna/Cammen, and in some Origins (Iona/Darrien in the Human Noble Origin), but there may be one or two characters that can be a legit romance (would love to see that) that can be continued.



Personally hoping for a marriageable NPC, like a noble or prince/princess. Since Hawke will rise to power in Kirkwall, wouldn't it be possible for him/her to have a husband/wife/life partner to rule alongside with?

But also what Zevran says about fleeing from Isabella's husband naked across the rooftops (or something like that).

I hope so. I liked the option to marry Anora. And I liked being able to choose who Teagan hooked up with. Non party romances would be pretty cool.

I think it more than likely that romance will be an option similar to steal in Origins, with a similar cooldown before trying again:

"Romancing failed!"
"Romancing detected!"
"Romancing successful!"

or similar.

He's DLC like Shale. I've heard you can flirt with him; I don't know the extent of the flirting, though.
