Also - anyone know where I can buy add-ons to the game? Would like to do the witchhunt side-quest
The harder it is, the better items?

Hello. I just recently came across a few pictures of Dragon age Origins, showing armor I never have seen before. So I was starting to wonder; If you're playing through the game at one of the hardest settings - will the gear that drop be better etc? Or doesn't the difficulty have anything to say?

Searched, but can't find where.

Its a good chance they may have been user created items.
I suggest checking out: http://dragonage.wik...Dragon_Age_Wiki
look up the equipment lists for everything.

Difficulty does not change the drops. They're based on your level, normally. As for seeing images of gear you're not familiar with, odds are it came from a mod.
To buy DLC, you need to purchase BioWare points. In the game, under Downloadable Content on the initial screen (where you click resume or load game) you will find a button for uploading BioWare points. Click on that and it will take you to the BW store where you can upload points and purchase DLC.
