It seems fairly obvious to me how certain renegade choices in the first two games could have a negative impact on Shepard gathering forces to fight off the reapers(killing the rachni queen, killing Wrex, etc) but I just had a thought: what about PARAGON choices having the same effect? Do you really think Bioware would create a scenario that doing the "right thing" in one of the previous games negatively affects an outcome in ME3?

Bah, forgot to add one last question: HOW do you see that happening? I have my own ideas, but interesting to see what other ppl think.

Sure you can, admiral. Like the time when my shepard did the ____ with the ___ while I _______ toothpaste ____ presbyterian _____ Turkey sandwich.

Back to the topic, yes, it will probably happen. Wait and find out.

Actualy... inb4 "We don't want to cripple your gameplay as a renegade - players shouldn't be punished". In other words, I'm close to being sure that BioWare will put alternatives to everything you could have screwd up.

You killed the Rachni? Well the Rachni won't help you but here's some supah galactic robots out of your ass.

You killed the council? Well you won't get us much help from Asari, Turians and Salarians but now Humans has fumazing fleet to aid you.

et cetera, et cetera.

The very very end of the game, that thing you do which the man in charge does or does not like. It has to do with dark colored crevaces in space.
