As much as I liked Sigrun, isn't she dead? It's heavily implied in every ending I've had where she wasn't killed that she went to finish her job (dying) in the Deep Roads. Sure she could be alive, but she really was just a more cheerful version of every other Legionary. The writers said they brought back characters that have a story to tell, and Anders' Chantry hate has a huge opportunity in DA2.

Anders - chantry hate as a story!! surely they could have brought back pretty much every mage in fereldan (if what posters on these forums claims is true) hell thier were far better characters in my opinion to be put into the game Sigrun was one of these, Anders however on a whole was a bland unintresting character heavily sterotyped (from half a dozen fantasy novels), who they needed Justice possessing him to add even a hint of interest to the character my one hope is you can get the option to free Justice from his torment and it kills of this character so we never have to come across him in future games.
In case you hadnt guessed I dont like Anders I do however like the charismatic Sigrun

Sigurn was by far my most favourite character out of Awakening and the only DW rogue I consistently have taken along or would have considered taking along (including a DW rogue player warden). Ah well ... However I guess not quite as interesting and with not quite as many possibilities as Anders and maybe not with as many fans.

We'll have to agree to disagree there. He's a comedy relief, makes similar types of jokes with similar voice tones. And character wise - put Alistair in mage robes and he'd probably will be a runaway apostate too, seeing as he shares no particular love for Templars and their strict ways.

my guess is they needed another mage besides bethany/mage hawke in the party so the party wasn't gimped with only 1 mage option

I wanted Sigrun back, it would be nice. But I also liked Anders. And now there's some explanation for him being SPIRIT Healer, you know? I mean, with a SPIRIT inside of him. But a better questin is: why one or another, and not both?

No i have a hard time accepting some of you like Short,chubby,Greasy haired women with Face tatoos that resemble burns and nose the size of Russia.

Also wears Armor ussually covering any of her womanly stuff, But maybe thats for the better.

I could do without the tatoos, but they actually don't look that awful on her. (and I'm usually one who hates tatoos) Where do you get the greasy hair part? I don't recall her hair looking greasy in Awakening. (I don't recall anyone's hair looking greasy or sweaty ever in DA:O or DAA) And what's wrong with chubby? Way better than these skinny, bony women. (I think Oghren says it best to Velanna. "I'll tell you one thing -- you bony human and elven types have nothing on our women. Look at that rump. You call that a rump? A man needs some cushion.")

I loved Sigrun but not sure how her character would fit what seems to be the central conflict, which is mage vs. templar. Still, no dwarf I'd rather see pop up again except for that sexy beast Kardol.
