Well that is a true point. Even moreso, Sigrun wouldn't be the same without duel wielding axes.
Why Anders and not Sigrun?

Then that Anders is not really Black...this sounds bad but nothing of anders is black and you would tell and people would most likely get offened. Now if you were talking about writing Anders as a Black character that is what we were talking about and how its hard to write one without offending someone.
Now lets get off this topic since this is way off topic and not something we should be talking about anyways
I didn't know black people were a monolithic enity that had no diversity and all had to be written a certain way. I thought we were all individuals. Did I miss something?

The outlook for her is pretty grim even if she survives. You could "keep her busy" in the epilogue, but most likely she goes off into the deep roads to fight the darkspawn until death.

Sigrun was just a likeable character. Since it wouldn't make sense for her to be in Kirkwall, it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing of a companion shared her personality somewhat, without being considered a clone.
Perhaps if Bioware was worried about falling into stereotypes in relation to characters like Jacob, they could to a little research or socialize with people from a variety of cultures? They shouldn't be so worried about backlash that they feel like they have to make game characters 99% caucasian human. Variety is good. At least Bioware wasn't afraid to give Isabela her skin color change for DA2.
