Does anyone know if more statistics like that have been released and if so, where I can find them? I found the information really fascinating and can't help but wonder how/if any of those stats have changed now a few months have passed. How does the PS3 version compare with the PC and Xbox results, or is it too early to tell?
What is your opinion, do you think the results are roughly the same?

I still don't get it why Engineer is least played class.

It's the least intuitive class to pick.

it's generally the most indirect class, most people don't like to be divorced from the action - that's just human nature.

Thats bull****. Just cause its more weapon focused than power focused like all the other classes doesn't make it less "complicated". I hate that people saying that. Its a good class. Its for people who like their guns. And no that doesn't make them a story hateing online FPS fanboys. The Soldier is my favourite class and I despsie CoD (I do like Halo, but i way prefer a good RPG like ME)Captain_Obvious_au wrote...
Boring? Soldier is obvious because it's the least complicated, then you have Vanguard's 'charge' ability; the Infiltrator being stealthy; the adepts powers; and the sentinel's tank-like strength.

Would like to see the current stats and see how different people play the game. Maybe they will release one shortly. Its only been what, A month since the release on the PS3?

For example me:
5 ManShep's and 4 FemShep's.
3 Soldiers( Widow, Revenant, Claymore)
2 Sentinels
2 Engineers
1 Vanguard
1 Adept
1 Infiltrator
2 of my Shep's ain't completed, 3 I start over again and for 2 of the I doubt I'll finish it, 3 deleted playthrough's, 1 playthrough in which I play with Legion model I doubt I'll finish.

Wow dude, calm. I'm not having a go at people who like the Soldier class, just pointing out that it's the least complicated. Aside from Adrenaline Rush, all you have to worry about is your weapons and ammo powers. Every other class though has tech or biotic abilities, so it gets more complex. As a result, I suspect that a large majority of first-time players will jump straight into the soldier class to get familiar with the game without being bombared with options.Veen130 wrote...

•The Soldier class is far and away the most popular class at 65%
• Archangel was among the most popular squad members selected for missions
•10% of players never let the Krogan out of his/her thing
•Only 50% of players have fully upgraded the Ship by the end of the game
•14% of squad members die in the end-game, on average

4 Soldiers
2 Vanguards (do intend to make another one)
2 Infiltrators
2 Sentinels
2 Adepts
1 Engineer (do intend to make another one)
The Engineer can be a bit frustrating due to difficult to use offenses and pistols and poor defenses. Soldiers can use any gun for any situation, and are tough as hell.

Nowhere writes 18% of players played as FemShep.
Number is probably as high as MaleShep.

Surprisingly enough, it states that only 18% of all players chose a female Shepard while 82% played as a male Shepard.
