Got my server running very smoothly again, all is well, except one small thing - log files.

I cannot seem to remember (been over a year) how to turn them on. In my log file it used to show the chat and monsters killed, and when people logged in and out. It also never overwrote itself, just adding to the bottom.

How do I put that back on?

Thanks for your time answering this noob question lol

It's probably a setting in one of the .ini files. Have you looked through those? I believe it's on by default but it's been so long I don't recall myself.

Does anyone know where the record of conversations in a multiplayer game is kept. Need to refer to a conversation I had last night and cannot find the conversation log.

By default, log files are stored in one of the subdirectories of the Documents And Settings folder for the user that's logged in. Check in either Application Data or Local Settings. There's also a temp folder in Local Settings I believe, which might be where the NWN2 client stores game logs. Or just do a file system search for NWN2 in your My Documents folder. It should show up.

I assume you have chat logging enabled.

The CE also adds a more convenient autologging capability as of the current release (client-side). http://social.biowar...6438/LP#6525553

Logs are timestamped and saved with different files per day, per character, and are appended.

Edit: Sorry I meant DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS, not MY DOCUMENTS. Corrected above.

CE sounds like a great option.
