That'll probably go to Heavy Rain. It's doing surprisingly well so far. Personally I would've given best score, best art direction, best story and GOTY to Mass Effect 2.

And why was New Vegas nominated for best strategy game?

I was wondering the same thing, I stared at the screen in confusion for a few moments.

Yeah, they won.  Shame for ME2, but it is well deseved.

Agreed. Now don't get me wrong, Heavy Rain was incredible. But ME 2 was just so much more to me.

You, see, what also makes my hopes up is the fact that no BioWare member showed up on the scenario, so maybe they aren't at the prizes at all, ergo, they are hard at work at the third one (or they can be partying in the office)
