Angry? No. Disapointed? Yes. Jeez people on this forum ***** about way dumber topics. Aren't I allowed to vent my grief? No matter how irrational it might seem to you, and others like you.

Look. I'm totally not going to lie. I was hoping that information, like spell, and talent info, and some more gameplay vids would be leaked. Hell most everyone who didnt get the code was. Even if I couldnt play the demo yet, it would be nice to see someone else enjoying it... In HD quality..

The gamestop demo getting cancelled is not pissing me off nearly as much as people taunting me for being a upset about this getting called.

I can see why they're pulling it, really. If I recall correctly, someone here on this forum received the code for the demo when he bought something at GameStop; it was just given to him by the cashiere, even though THIS PARTICULAR DEMO is meant for GameStop employees.



Not the end of the world, of course, but it does mean an increase in risk. No one's to say this member was the only customer to receive a code. Who knows who else has access to that demo, let alone what they'll do with the premature footage.

Just wait eleven more days, and you'll get to experience it yourself.

Personally I think that position is just as unreasonable, but the time to make that argument was back when the news of his exclusive deal was leaked.  Gloating at the cancellation of the exclusive window seems just... immature.

Being a braggart about generousity is worse than being selfish. It really is.

And we're not taunting anyone about not getting it. We're laughing at people that weren't supposed to get it anyway getting upset about the situation. Not because we wouldn't be upset in reversed roles, but because the situation itself is funny.

Uh huh.. Whatever. I just don't think its cool to say your going to do something, then just turn around, and do the opposite. But whatever. I've guess I'm one of the few genuinly disapointed in this.  

Oh well whatever. Life goes on.

First of all I don't brag about ****, I'm making sure people calling me out knows what I've been doing. It's not like I advertise my charity all over the place, in fact this the first time I bring it up.

The only thing funny about this situation is finally knowing what kind of mess the EA marketing department is, as if I didn't already think they were sloppy already with the demo promo leak earlier.

Though, I suppose it is possible that they informed Gamestop higher ups before the website update went up. Hopefully that's the case and the Gamestop employees had a bit of time to...come to terms with the loss, so to speak
