So I went to GameStop today and out of curiosity asked about ME3's Collector's edition and they said that there was no info on it yet. They did however told me that ME3 has a release date!

Everywhere else says the generic "12/31/2011" but GameStop has been given the release date for them at least.

On Gamestop's website it still shows the 12/31 release date

This year is going to be so awesome when it comes to games, if the games deliver of course.

If the date is true, that means Uncharted 3 and Mass Effect 3 are released in the same week. That's just awesome.

Probably makes more sense that the clerk was dumb and got it mixed up with Uncharted 3.

Im not trolling people, the clerk checked and told me herself. The website says 12/31/11, but it's probably just until it's officially announced in the media.

For one thing they're both big budget titles and they both end in 3. I'm not saying it's that likely but it's possible for someone with minimal amount of game knowledge to get them mixed up.

She said "MASS EFFECT", right in front of me. Not UNCHARTED, she said MASS EFFECT after I asked about the collector's edition.



She also seems very adept at video games, I heard her talking with the other clerk on how the Brink trailer looked good 'n' stuff.

No, I understood that part perfectly... Even a relatively better source like a GameStop clerk can't be 100%. Unless a BioWare official source relays a release date, I just don't buy it >:-( I don't think you're a troll. I'm just very, very doubtful about that information.
