Actually, he is.
An abomination is a mage possessed by a demon.
So, umm, yea, that makes Anders an abomination.
Sorry.

Hm. Looks like someone was on low console settings.
Well, whatever. It'll give you guys something to kvetch about.
Consoles have graphics settings? That's news to me.

He's an abomination in the way that Wynne was though, not the way that Conner or the abominations from the tower were. It's clear that they shouldn't be all lumped together, the former cases are just so rare that scholars haven't bothered to differentiate them yet.
True.
Not sure a Templar would stop and consider the difference, though.

What do you mean low console settings? Do you mean low graphics on PC? Or a low graphics setting for the Xbox and PS3?
The only devs that have given consoles the ability to alter graphics are the guys that made Two Worlds 2. I highly doubt Bioware gave the same freedoms.

Is it irony that posters paint the templars in the same 'absolutes' that templars treat mages or what?

Maybe some review copies come with a default lower resolution.

I'm guessing he misspoke or was refering to the console control on a PC.

Did they? I've been playing that for the last week or two... besides fixing the default UI setting on my xbox, I haven't toyed around with any options. Didn't realize there were any graphics altering options to be played with. Might be worth it, since that game gets laggy sometimes.

Console games do in fact have graphic settings, only they are hidden. More often than not, the multiplayer graphics are turned down a bit.

Actually, multiplayer tends to be on a completely different engine than the single player.
Hidden or no, though, (as I assume most games with a PC version would have control over this sort of thing,) if you don't have access to the console you can't really do squat about it, unless you are hacking your system

Here you go!
It seems you can tweak some of the settings. Not everything, but stuff like DOF, motion blur can be tweaked.

You should specify that that's for Two Worlds 2, not Dragon Age 2.

Anders is definitely still recognizable as snarky ol' Anders on most
subjects. He/Justice just have one enormous blind spot. And the bigger
that issue gets in the world, the harder it is for Anders to focus on
anything else...
