Hey,
I had an install of dragon age origins on my PC and I had to do a HDD reformat. I saved all my games and have ported them over to the new installation, but now all the mods I have reinstalled in the override folder are not working? The game isnt even registering that they are there.

Im 100% I have the correct override folder -  C:\\Users\\Myname\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core

I had the mods working before, so they are all compatible, so that shouldnt be the problem.
Its probably something really simple, but I cant for the life of me figure out what I am doing wrong.

Any help would be appreciated - Thanks! :)

Did you patch the game to the previous level it was at?

Silly question time: did you follow the mod install instructions?

Yes, I have followed the installation instructions. I have also run all the mods before, so I don't think that would be it. Each mod is sitting in its own folder in the over-ride directory I specified in the original post.

That would be C:\\\\\\\\Users\\\\\\\\Myname\\\\\\\\Documents\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\packages\\\\\\\\core\\\\\\\\override , Right?

Were any of the mods installed using the dazip installer?

Yes thats the over-ride directory I used. It only has two mods in in at the moment. Neither required the use of the dazip installer as they are just extracted to that folder.

Full disclosure here-- I don't like using a lot of mods (not worth the eventual headaches) and haven't had a lot of experience with them. However, I am thinking that perhaps this is a permissions issue? Just a wild guess. Is your user account an admin account? Or, more to the point, are you using the same account that you used when installing the game? (I mean accounts in Windows, not your EA or Bioware account).

I hadn't thought of the admin being a problem, as I am the only account on the computer, making me admin by default. I shall run the game as administrator though, and see if it works.
