5) Combat has changed a little. Instead of pressing A once to enter attack mode, you press A for each standard strike, then a different button for each special ability (like before). I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing yet. It feels cool at first, though I wonder if it'll take away too much from the turn-based

This sounds like a massive draw back for me. I detest constant button smashing and if this is anything like the Witcher combat it will be tough for me to get through. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding how it works but if I have to hit A for each attack I'll be sorely disappointed.

Console-only. :D But, like every other piece of proffered information, we already knew that.

Hardcore knowledge-bearers, ask me a question that will prove beneficial to you if answered.

I did.  Once the intro section is over.  Is there a mission later in the game that you can play?  if there is, can you please describe that?

Dragon.

Flames.

Duck the flames

Eats a darkspawn, drops him from high above

Dragon is Flemeth.

Flemeth wants to join you.

skip cutscene, skip cutscene, skip cutscene

You're in a town with cobblestone paving with plenty of people walking around.

We already knew that XD we've known that for months actually, a simple answer as to how you got the demo would suffice btw, and can  you please tell us what the rogue skill trees are? I asked nicely ;)

Edit: Oh and flemeth doesn't want to join you, she wants you to deliver a package to the dalish for her....<_<

Eh? No, I haven't indicated that I have. In fact, I posted a long reply proving we knew every point he offered.

Flemeth wants to join you eh? Dont you mean gives you an amulet to deliver to the elves, the part of the story already confirmed by magazines and websites that have played the game?
I am more skeptical....

On consoles you can toggle it on and off. Meaning no auto attack (the new press a each time) and the old DAO style.

Seeing as you can pick any of the three classes, please pick rogue and inform us about the available abilities, etc.

Also, it must feel cool being the only person the have unlock the bonus weapon thing

No, I want to wheedle at him until I force him to break.

In fact, he already gave himself away by claiming Flemeth wants to join you.

he already gave himself away when he said there was character customization after the intro when the devs have said there will be no character creator in the demo.  only default Hawkes....

Though yes OP this is a pretty obvious lie. Just stop posting.

Grrrrrrr....... WE ALREADY KNOW ALL OF THAT. THE SECOND YOU "TURNED OFF YOUR XBOX IS WHAT IS NEW!!!! *headdesk combined with facepalm for cross-class combo*

Alright, alright, take it easy. I'll have to go back on to explore the mission after the Flemeth meeting. I saved it after the cutscenes so I can only clue you in on what I discover from that point. All I know is that I'm in a populated town and I don't know why, because I skipped the conversation to get back to you.

I'll also look into the Rogue skill tree for you.

Will that satisfy the doubters?

You can't save the demo.

There is no CC in the demo.

Also, it's funny that you responded to the only person not pointing out Flemeth doesn't want to join you.

I don't have the demo, I have the full thing.

What about the part I mentioned near the start about choosing your pre-game history based on pre-scripted options or your original DA1 char? That is part of the character customization.

Let me guess the three options involve a Dalish Elf, Dwarven Noble (or Commoner I forgot which)...and I forgot the last one. Someone help me out here?

The game hasnt even gone gold yet. that fact was stated in a thread just today by a Bioware employee. How do you have a full copy of a game that isnt yet complete?

I had heard conflicting reports on that aspect.  One was as listed by the poster in this thread, one was a developer indicating there was some kind of auto attack thus I wasn't sure if this was 100% confirmed.
