Okay, so since I got the game, I'd been dealing with crashes to desktop. Sometimes I'd get as much as a half an hour, mostly it'd be five-ten minutes, sometimes less than that.
I assumed it was my graphics card but I poked around and found something on the Mass Effect board. I updated the drivers on my sound card. I've a Creative X-Fi and updating it seems to have cleared the issue up.
Just thought I'd let you guys know in case it helped anyone else.
