So I really, really wanted to have March 8th off, but I can't because I found out last week that there is a big event going on at work that I have to assist with so that leaves that out.  So instead I am thinking of taking a vacation day on March 9th so I can play DA2 all day. Is anyone else so excited for the game that they are planning to do this?

spring break for me. Although its not quite as much a break in graduate school as it was in undergrad.

LOL, I'm in grad school too. Imagine my disappointment when I realized that our spring break is the week before DA2 comes out.

I also have had the date DA2 comes out circled in red in my calendar for months:devil:

I'll still be in college. My break isn't until April 17th.

Thankfully, I'll be able to play DA II all night and the next day after release date because I have Wenesday off.

Amazon BETTER release it on the right day. I pre-ordered for release date shipping <_<

I'm to the age now where a play session running longer than 4 hours just ends in delirium/boredom. Anymore I prefer chunk segments to game, most of the time being 2-3 hours..

So no, work like always with a few sessions spread out through the week.. Now when Shogun 2 comes out, I'll rreeaallyy have to watch the clock so I don't find myself staring at "4:30 AM".. I've done that too many times with strat games..

My spring break starts the 7th. It's unfortunate that my boss wants me to work that entire week anyway *grumbles*.

It's right in the middle of Finals Week, so I shan't be doing that. I shall, however, be refusing to sleep and playing Dragon Age non-stop when I'm not in class. :D

Same here! B) I totally requested the 8th and the rest of the week off. The only drawback is on Wednesday; I have class from  1-9pm. I look at that as giving my Xbox a break while I'm stuck in class.

I don't even know if I will have my new computer by the time it comes out, and my old computer just died last night :(

But no, no time off for me.

Well I have spring break the week after release, but I'm definitely spending the 9th at home so I can have a full day with DA2 since I probably won't get it on the 8th until around 3:00 in the afternoon.

Ah, the one time unemployment has benefits.

I'd like to say I'm going to pace myself and savor the experience, but realistically, I'll probably be finished with my first run as fast as humanly possible. Patience is not one of my virtues when it comes to BioWare games; I am Pavlov's Dog and March 8th signals the feeding frenzy.

I'm glad to see that I am not alone in wanting to take a day off just to play DA2:) If I don't take Wednesday off than I'd have to be at work at 7am(yuck) and I won't get home onl Tuesday until after 8pm which would leave me too little time to enjoy DA2 and get sleep(which I'd be too excited to do anyway)....which leads to my plan of take Wednesday off. so today I decided to get done work on Tuesday stop and pick up my game if I haven't already gotten it at midnight and play as late at night as I want:)

Luckily, I telecommute and pretty much get to be flexible with my scheduling. The day I get the game (ordered online, so it may not be March 8th :P ), I can probably play all day long, unless I'm overloaded with edits & such (I'm a pretty responsible workaholic - heh).

I fully support all those who will rush through the game to allow us slower people to meta-game (lol).

Unfortunately, I don't get enough PTO in a year to justify using it on a video game. But I'll look forward to LI spoilers long before I figure them out myself lol

Chances are I'll be buying my copy off ebay a few days after release (can prolly find a signature edition with preorder bonus if I do that without the hassle of trying to order it in time and pay them up front), but I might just plan on being sick on whatever day it arrives.

I requested it off last week and so far, so good! My friend is also taking the day off. We'll be going to pick-up our pre-orders as soon as the store opens. Probablly the only time I'll be rolling out of bed before ten am on a day off, but that extra hour of DA2 will be worth it!
