Can we have an update please. Are they even working on fixing this issue?
Cheers in advance.

A while back on a different topic jack from bioware said the QA are aware of this issue and are looking into fixing it. Expect a fix in the hopefully next patch with the new game + glitch fix since both require the game to be played through a few times to find and fix all the problems. Although the first patch would need to come out first and unfortunately because sony is taking forever to verify it who knows when that will be:(.

Of course the QA are aware, as far as I know the sound lag happens in every single copy! I have no idea what the testers were playing... Either that or Bioware got lazy and released the game with that annoying bug.
Which is a big dissapointment because even though ive only gotten it like 3 times so far, it really kills the immersion. Another thing ive noticed is that when you fight that battle mech at freedoms progress, the cut scene that precedes that is lagged. EVERY TIME.

Yeah the audio is a mess and really needs to be fixed soon but i am not holding my breath. Even if bioware fixes it sony will most likely take just as long or longer to release a second patch.

I am finding this really annoying. I have now experienced Dragon Age and ME2 on the PS3, and from now on, I wil lonly buy 360 versions, they have far less bugs. I think they need to invest in PS3 programmers

if you use the skip button a lot it will increase your chance of getting delayed audio in cut scene
to avoid that all you have to do is not skip
i had this happen to me a lot especially on the comic i kept skipping then eventually the comic dissapeared and show shepards helmet in the dark, it still shows your choices though like if you save the citadel or not stuff like that

Yeah skipping does increase your chances but i played through the whole game without skipping anything and still had a bunch of audio issues. So that is not the problem alone.

You can skip. That comic is like 10 minutes long! Skip, but skip slowly. If you're just mashing on the skip button, you'll get Shepard's helmet. (Happened to me too. Freaked me out!), but if you press the skip button once a second or something, you'll be fine.
Having to go through that comic every time you start a new character would be EXCRUCIATING.

Not really, I mean how many new characters do you start anyways? You make it sound as if the comic plays every time you turn on the game haha

Yah, I've had that exact same issue each playthrough as well as with the scene when Jack escapes, right before talking to her. I can tell she's waving her arms and screaming, but I hear it seconds later :|

yea the intro does take forever
but its well worth the wait once you get to the real game
