Ugh, fan wars. I'm suddenly reminded of the boyband fan wars of late 90's. Constant bickering back and forth of who's cuter, whose music is better, who has the nicer fans, and whatnot. What a load of old tosh! Why can't folks like both? Oh, right, 'cos liking both would result in peace and we can't have that in a world that seems hellbent on destroying itself by tearing every living thing apart in some form or another.  Blood, guts, explosions, misery, and death, YAY!

First, we don't have a generic fantasy world

Andrzej Sapkowski spent a huge part of his life doing this

It's comfortable for us

and it works out well for us

So instead of creating your own lore and universe you rip on other companies for being uncreative? I loved the original Witcher, but its sad to see a company claim to offer deep, mature choices in their games, but rip on original franchises and claim superiority in doing so.

I don't care about graphics in RPG's, as long as they are servicable. Good to know the Witcher crew have spent more of their time and money making sure the game is pretty rather than working on the areas that actually matter in an RPG. And their superiority complex is really starting to annoy me.

The Witcher 1 was slightly better than DAO. The Witcher 2 on the other hand will blow DA2 away

Seeing the last thread, sex cards and fixed male protagonist was enough reason for most people to label The Witcher as a bad game, why would be the second part different?

Witcher 1 left enough of a bad taste in my mouth that I'll go for DA2 over witcher 2. Graphics arnt everything., and i find the argument over it incredibly stupid.



DA2 > TW2 in my opinion.

Of course the graphics are better, It's a PC game. What matters is the game play though.
