Arguments like these are why we can't have nice things. Why can't we enjoy both or one of these awesomely promising games without ripping on the other?
Its the internet, do you really have to ask?

Then why are Witcher 2 devs using Bioware for publicity? They must have little faith in their soon to be inferior game.
Are they? Keep in mind that it's not like CD Projekt is running around screaming "We're better than BioWare!" PC Gamer dude was definitely fishing for a good quote and directly asked them to compare. What were they supposed to say? "BioWare rulez?"
you know, a good professional would say "no comment" or "I think that question is innappropriate".
Sure, the usual standard corporate issue, marketing friendly, legal department approved answer would be "We love BioWare, respect BioWare and so on and so forth." Personally I prefer if he answers straight even if that will ruffle some feathers.

Funny, seeing that TW2's marketing is quite good, and has been running very strong since last spring, they aren't desperate.
Yet they take every opportunity to take a stab at bioware. Ah well, once the dust settles we'll see who remains standing.

Vs topics between DA and TW have been brewing on the net for some time now. And that interviewer was clearly fishing. At this point Bioware may as well start firing back. Come on Laidlaw, give em yer best shot!

Well, if they're after getting new people to play their game, then the professional approach would be most appropriate. If they want to alienate Bioware fans that may have tried to play their game that havent before, i think they just ruined that chance. I know i for one wont be playing TW2, both because of my dislike of TW1 and now this attitude.
I was perfectly willing to give TW2 a shot due to the improvements i heard about. Not anymore.

Im pretty sure the sales of DA2 will speak loudly enough to the Witcher people that their "graphical superiority" means absolutely nothing. Id say DA does 3-5 times the numbers the Witcher 2 pulls off.

Really? Answering a direct question on how their game compares to Dragon Age and saying that they have better graphics and more fleshed out world is going to scare people away?
Somehow I doubt that.

I think Bioware is confident enough to let sales show whats what.

Let's see - there was already a thread about this, one in which some people, as per usual, acted childishly. Not interested in seeing more flaming again. *sigh*

The "it made more money" argument has never been a show of quality.
If it were, that would mean Britney Spears makes some of the best music in the history of mankind.
