I actually really like the accent, but it's definitely an opinion thing. I enjoy that it's posh and higher pitch... I don't want every female ass kicker I play to sound super butch. She might be able to hand you your spleen on a platter but she's still a woman, and I like that she sounds... girly.

I think if FemHawke's VA could bring in some of that fiery attitude to DA2, I'll keep my main Hawke as a female. I prefer not to be stuck with a soft-spoken lead. Nice find, Phazor58 & Ninalupa.

So nice see femhawke finally getting some attention too.

I really liked her voice and looks and she clearly had her own walking and standing animations and everything!

I have to admit it sounded a bit "cuter" than I thought but I like it. She sounds noble too, which is fitting and pleasant? I want to hear more sarcasm and angry. I think she'll sound really cool.

Overall I'm very pleased with Lady Hawke so far.

I've seen the vid and I love her voice. Playing a female wont be as hard now.





I heard 3-4 lines of FemShep and said "done." but granted I'm not too fond of either Sheps voices.

Yeah I think they both sound great. I was worried about the voiced protagonist coming in but they picked some good people from what I've seen so far.

That's exactly how I feel! I love her voice for that reason. So far Male Hawke's voice hasn't moved me, but I already love FemHawke's voice. It's such a welcome change from Fem Shep, though it can be argued Shep had reasons for sounding so masculine at times.

I think my only problem with Lady Hawke's voice so far is that it sounds a little too similar to Isabela's. Maybe that was just because of the low sound and me straining to hear, though.

It's very pleasing to listen to, but I wanted a little less pleasant and a little more grit. A deeper voice. A tougher, less even voice (which wouldn't make any less of a woman, btw). I actually prefer Femshep a little. Maybe my opinion will change when I hear some less diplomatic options.



Oh well. It amused me that she sounded a little offended at Isabela freeing slaves.

Well, LadyHawke's mum is nobility, so the posh could have rubbed off.

Her voice is pleasant, and best of all different. If it wasn't as sweet as it is, I would think of Jennifer Hale and Shepard instead of Hawke.



Now I can customize my Hawke and not worry about making an expy of my Shepard by accident.

Yeah! I like it..its almost not what you would expect from a hardened warrior type which makes it great.

That's what I was thinking and I totally don't mind.  I have to say that it took me a long time to appreciate female Shepard's voice.  At first I felt like they had used a harsher toned voice, because that's what a femal commander has to sound like...but in the end I was a total convert and admit that a little part of me wanted the same thing for female Hawke.

Anywho, the little we heard sounds promising.  Soft spoken can still be deadly.  She'll just kill with a girlish smile and a song in her heart.
