Remember he seemed to be picking very agreeable dialogue choices along the way to spur on the quest. She might have a totally different sound if she is giving the other person a rough time. In any case 'sweet snark' is the toughest form of snark to defend against.

Seriously though I'm britiish but the posh accent sounded a little exaggerated at times...its doing my nut in trying to figure out who it is!

I like her voice much more than male Hawke.

Doesn't sound a thing like Anora, aside from having an accent. Anora's voice was instantly recognizable as Isabela and Bella. If they changed Isabela's voice actress precisely because Anora was such a major player in DAO with such a distinct voice, why would they give that same VA to the player character, of all people?

Not terrible, I'll get used to it. Like many have said it's higher pitched then I expected, but already knew we weren't getting Hale (/lament) so it's okay. Though it's such a low quality sample I could barely tell the difference between her and Isabella in the opening, and I'm sure that's not something they'd want. Will have to wait for the demo or a higher quality sample before much can be said.



She is *very* British. But I suppose that's fitting, isn't it?

It is really one of the better voices I have heard for a main character. I liked it more than the fem voice in ME2

I like how feminine it sounds. Sweet voice and a pretty face handing out ass-kickings. I'm especially pleased as it will go well with the custom look I have in mind for my Lady Hawke. Hooray!

FemHawke sounds amazing. I was hoping she'd have a sort of cutesy voice... Heck I'm almost tempted to go against all my gaming beliefs and play as the default FemHawke. They really made her the perfect mixture of adorable and sexy. DEM EYES.

Yeah, she's definitely not Mika Simmons.

It's funny I did hear a Corinne Kempa-ish voice in her line "Will someone please tell me what's going on?" But nope, it couldn't be her.

I think I understand now why people who played the demo weren't able to place the VA. I really can't figure it out myself.

It's exactly what I wanted, too! Someone who sounds sweet but not too sweet, not like you can't take her seriously as a foe. I think I'm really going to love her lines during romantic conversations! And her 'renegade' lines could be awesome, too.

I like her voice as well...as far as I can tell she does sound a bit like Anora/Origins isabella( atleast in the accent) which isn't a bad thing. I will have to listen to it more to see if I can tell who it is...though I'm sure someone else will ge it before me...LOL. I think I will enjoy my play throughs of both male and female Hawke's well done Bioware DA 2 staff!

Juding from what I've heard(Snarky, Friendly). When she sounds angry she might have sort of a pouty, or high pitched growly voice..

Again, Mika Simmons did Anora and the old Isabella, and she did not do anything in Mass effect, and thus can not be Fhawke.

Thank you. It's possible the devs had misinformation, but I doubt it.

I think people are just hearing "posh English accent" and the only posh English accent from a major woman in DAO was Anora's.

You might be thinking of Kaitlyn (that woman in Redcliffe with the missing brother). She always sounded like Leliana without the French accent. In fact, when Leliana dropped a line into the conversation it felt a little odd, as if she was talking to herself.
