My simple question is:
How to play this game online with my friends?

You cannot; single player only.

Dragon Age is a single player, epic adventure that tosses you into a twirling story where the choices you make affect the outcome of the game. There is no availability to be able to do this online with friends or create massive PWs with empty areas.

Only reason I bought this game, because I thought it was Coop.

Unbelievable. This game has been the most anticipated RPG in a year and so many users haven't read anything about what they're dropping their $50+ USD on. Entertaining to say the least.

It does not state that the game is co-op anywhere so I guess you learned it's wise to do a spot of research first. Or at least read the back of the box.
I do have a feeling that this will end up the way of Neverwinter Nights in the future and have an online group-play mode with the oppotunity for persistent worlds. It makes perfect sense.

no MP whatsoevers sorry, will have to keep playing NWN2 until they bring an MP version of this game out, not that its stenciled in or anything they may not! maybe I just shouldn't have said that part
yes, No MP! back to the good old days of Ultima games when you had to share what you'd done round the water cooler, metaphorically anyway

uhhh wow. why are we still having this conversation? You need the internet to ONLY get access to DLC and upload your stats/achievements to this website.
AS of now there is NO MULTIPLAYER/COOP play, THERE NEVER HAS BEEN!
No where, at least on the CE does it say anything about multiplayer, well cause DUH, its obviously an RPG!!!!!!!!!

How do they do that? There is nothing on the website that states anything of the sort. There is nothing on the box. There was never anything in the pre-release press poeces to suggest that this was an online game.
I'd suggest that 'they' did not fool anyobdy. However a few fools have made a number of incorrect assumptions just for the lack of a quick bot of reading.

I just got my PS3 and this game, and on my game manual it DOES STATE ONLINE GAME PLAY is available. Is this a misprint or something new? If so how do I do it?

Are you sure it says online play and not online content is available for download? Because that's what's standing on my box, altho i have a PC version of the game.

Anyone with a console-based game is off-topic in the PC forum anyway. Maybe you have an entirely different game that only coincidentally has the same name as the PC game. Why not wander off to where you belong to learn the tech for your version?
