Yes it was. They dumped full localization support for a few languages, and switched to .ogg for the audio files to save space...though with the advent of terabyte hard drives, I'm not quite sure it was necessary. I can only assume they had their reasons.

Unfortunately we don't have Gamestop here (we have another retailer) and our mail system tends to run a bit late.

The plus side is that my local shop (which is very close to my home) tends to always stock  up on BioWare games on the specified release date. And for the right price in drinks, a friend of mine who works there *cough* accidently places one behind in another section  . And I always show up in the morning before they open and get my copy a few hours earlier than it would have come in the mail.

Time is money after all

Really interesting to hear that the mac version is on the disc with the PC version. I wonder what the DLC scheme is going to be, this time around? I bought DAO for PC and PS3 the last time around, this time I'd been planning of sticking with PC via Boot Camp, but if it's actually going to work just like PC version... Dare I hope for it?



Then I'd just have to figure out how to get my saves imported!



Anyway, congrats to Bio for this, the Hall of Fame for the Drs, and the award pile for ME2.
