Like when I said "think like a general but fight like a spartan," but everyone ignored the general part and spent a quarter of a year freaking out about how they weren't going to get to wear shirts and would spend the entire game kicking dudes down wells?
Its because the "general" part of that was tied up in the Tactical Camera for the PC for many people. And how that was a large chunk of their enjoyment of DAO in being able to zoom out and separate the camera from being centered on one character. Add in how much of the early footage of combat at conventions looked chaotic as hell and how the consoles were getting extra attention and its all fairly reasonable I think.

Or when the Game Informer article that kicked it all off opened talking about how we wanted to keep the best parts of origins and change some other things, but everyone ignored the part about keeping?
Well....at least for me, 4 of the key things I loved in Origins was the toolset, iso view, non voiced PC and the characters (Morrigan, Warden, Old God Baby plot). So while the more recent footage is looking better, in my view, quite a few things that have kept me playing Origins still up to this day, are not there.
