Is the Hanged Man tavern/inn a deliberate Tarot reference?

What exactly can the dog do? Does it serve the same function as it did in Origins. Is it the equivalent of this mod?
Does the world map cover the whole Free Marches? I remember seeing that it was presented from the Bird's Eye viewpoint.

The dog itself doesn't look anything like the concept art either.

1. Combat animations are fast, but health is shaven from enemies with more or less the same speed as in Origins. This discrepancy grates on my nerves. Moves make it seems like everything will end in a moment, but it doesn't.
2. FemHawke voice is a little too high-pitched for my liking. Might be able to get used to it, though.
3. A lot of Hawke's robes/hoods/helmets are still the same as in Origins. They weren't bad there, but in DA2 they don't work well with new style everything else has.
4. Isabela's breasts made me wonder if she practices a special school of acrobatics based on inertia of them.

Yes they can, when enemies are in melee range the mages auto attack is a melee attack with the staff (although damage is still base on their magic stat I think). Mages can also equip armour so long as their strength and con is up high enough.LJScribes wrote...
The only question I have is will my mage be able to jump into a group and be all melee like the Champion is in the first trailer. He is clearly a mage he's using a the staff he uses in the new Champion class trailer. Yet in all the gameplay I've seen so far mages are still distance fighters. I was hoping for a battlemage.

That's similar to a question I tried to submit yesterday (and yes, in the chat window "below" the video feed
I tried to ask how much the Mage class will be capable of melee fighting, as that's the one thing that makes or breaks my decision whether to play Mage or Warrior. If it feels like a hybrid class, then it's probably Mage, if not, I think I'll stay with Warrior / Templar etc..
It's just that I like swords and armor and stuff, but if there's some Magic to be put into the equation, I'm all into it.
Paladin, Jedi, Vanguard ... that's my world. In DA:O I chose the Human Noble Warrior. Just felt right somehow... and Templar / Champion / Guardian made it rather similar to the Paladin for me.

What I mean is, on a lot of things now I'm convinced that it was again a smart idea to pre-order the SE.
Thanks for the video and for the effort you put in there.

I wish they would have talked about if you could or could not complet quests that you didnt finish in the past after you have jumped in time further in the story. Also being blindsided with an end of game like fable 3 did.
I believe it was commented somewhere that you do get an indication you will be jumping to another time period if you continue so you can finish up quests. If someone knows what I'm talking about .... I know I am not crazy!

To honour the awesomeness that was this video, I made a comic depicting the most poignant, tragic scene of Dragon Age 2 to be shown so far:
