I just changed his name from Dog to Dawg in Origins. Need something more original i think for DA2

I always called him "Rabbit" in Origins, but I think it would be weird if I kept the same name for Hawke. Unless it's the same dog...ooh, conspiracy theories.

But I'll probably pick something different, and lore-based. Like Maric or Calenhad. Hawke is Ferelden, right? It's a sign of respect naming your dog after a king...right?

I'll name him Trafford (whole family are Man Utd fans) after my real dog. Same thing I named my warden's dog. For some odd reason I feel guilty if I name a pet in a game after anything other than my real dog.

Well i dont think it would be right to name the dog Fenris like i did in origins, so perhaps Dane because of Dane and the Werewolf. Other wise ill name him after an Old God, probably Andoral or Urthemiel
