That's new information for me! I guess the only real question is: who's out? Fenris, Anders, or Varric? I'm assuming it's going to be Fenris and Anders, with poor Varric left out due to nasty dwarf racism! But it would be nice to get a confirmation.

I'd prefer an anouncement of a planned valentines dlc (not ready yet since day one dlc is still kinda skeevy unless it comes with game) that's sort of like the feastday gifts...only it's romantic gifts for everyone in the party! (Except for the siblings who get platonic love gifts, like 'I'm so glad you're my brother!' or 'Here's some candy, go give it to that guy you've been eyeing but too cowardly to ask out' cards)

Er, who are you thinking are the LIs? We've had it confirmed by a dev Aveline is not a LI. We know there are a total of four LIs.

We know Isabela is a LI.

Female (as in the listed character, not the PC, is female) LI's:

1. Isabela (CONFIRMED for both Lady and Lord Hawke)

2. Merrill (No Aveline, so this has pretty good chances unless it's a person outside the party)


Male (as in the listed character, not the PC, is male) LI's:

1. Fenris (Hopeful + in a interview with Gaider, it sounded an awful lot like he wrote a romance for one of the party members, and Fenris is the only party member he has written. As far as we know.)

2. Varric (I'll take the dwarf and his chest hair over Anders/Vengeance). Although it'll probably end up being Anders/Vengeance here.

I'm beginning to suspect they're going to do an official reveal on Valentine's day. Which is incredibly CHEESY but kind of fun too. And, you know... a little teeny tiny LEAK wouldn't hurt. Would it? Considering we've known about Isabela for MONTHS now.

@Saibh as will one of the male LIs be. Last game we had Lelli as the bisexual choice, and she was human. But Zev was the bi choice for guys.

Ooh, I really want them to reveal the male ones. Isabella has been the obvious bi choice for a while now, and Merrill is pretty much a certainty.

I hope they do tell us the romances on the 14th, and if they do reveal the male ones, also reveal which one of the males is the bi option.

Isabela is straight, and a male choice.

When people talk about male LIs, they're talking about the female characters who are romantic interests for the men.

I much prefer the boy smell. I'd like to know going in what my options are, so I can prepare my character for possible celibacy (or not, as the case may be).
