The thing is, there'll be two male LIs and three male companions who all quite lend themselves to romance. Fenris has the no touching thing that he will learn to live with so he can be with Hawke, Anders has Vengence, so he might be worried Vengence might take over when he's intimate and Varric has his chest hair. Personally, I'm hoping Varric is the non romanceable. Fenris and Anders seem much more interesting.

@Saibh I think the two of you are at cross purposes here . It's semantics any way. What Saibh means is that Isabela is not straight HERSELF. Merrill IS. Isabela is not a straight woman who can be romanced by only males. Right?

I wonder why it is shunned to talk about a female companions being unattractive, but ever so simple and normal to just throw Sebastian, Fenris or Anders, or especially Varric into the bin for superficial flaws.

EDIT: Forgot Carver too, with all the derp deal, but that is more off-topic, since he is not a love interest.

I'm all excited!! I'm confident no matter who the romance options are, we won't be disappointed:wub:..unless it's Varric.. not really getting the love there

Who's done that? I have no problem with the looks of any of the potential LI's - I think Varric is gorgeous! The running joke is the body hair because Bioware hasn't done body hair on any of their characters before.

Personally I'm hoping for Varric for the bi male option...but I doubt it'll happen. Too many whiny fangirls who want their scrawny hairless emo elf. Dwarf romance would never sell. If not him, then I'm hoping for Anders as the bi LI. Partly because I always liked him and never cared for Fenris, and partly because they did a bi elf last time and I'd like to see something different.

I'm personally not that attracted to the dwarf, but I'm not gonna criticize others who like him. Just personal preference!

Me too, just because it's not really expected - people will expect the elf with the "emo" hair (I *LIKE* his 'do) or the previously overly flirtatious and camp mage

Haha, yeah there's so much humour potential with the other companions and an Anders romance. Ooh, I'm *mostly* confident that they won't deny us twice by making him unromanceable again. They don't want us to cry that much, do they?
